More advanced weapons (for hunting, that is)

Right now, the only way to hunt is to use a bow and an arrow, but in the case of a bear or bison, multiple arrows

To solve the, beefy animal problem, guns should do the trick
Guns, as we know, can kill people, so it's another problem for the civ in case of griefers
To give time, guns should be hard to reload
Some of the, hard to reloaders, are flintlocks and muskets

The process goes like this:
Gunpowder is inserted with a wick, then a piece of cloth and THEN a bullet, a small metal ball

Saving someone from a bullet is like removing a arrow head and then clean, sew

Back to the point:
Guns will one shot any beefy animal, bison or even bear
And because it one shots beefy animals, more wild animals should be added
Like deer, moose, buck and more

They also can be hunted with a bow, but it takes 2-3 arrows

Let me know, is the probability of griefers with guns higher than hunting moose and such?

Jason did mention adding guns eventually in the discord. Don't know if I can find the message though

guns to kill bears in one shot would be nice. I just wish hunting for food was a more relevant mechanic in this game.

I think it's goofy that people don't focus on hunting the turkeys around their camps/villages. At a big bulky 248 food per turkey they're already worth hunting + cooking if you find them in your immediate area. I'm not sure what deters people from hunting them (besides being hats) but the turkey is a great example of what a nonrenewable food source should be.

fug it’s Tarr.

I love turkeys. Mass hunting them is problematic since people will steal them for hats and I dislike the fact you need a knife to eat them ( thus making it unviable in a early camp) but it's definitely the kind of food design I wish we had more in the game. At least for early/mid game. I also like eggs and rabbits. I'm tired of composting for berries tbh.

A gun holster
Big or small
This gives you a slot for your gun and not taking space in apron or bag
Holster can be made by sewing leather, which is got from a cow, eventually
