Sheep pens are the arteries of your town.
That is, assuming compost is the life blood. If the sheep pen is clean, compost moves smoothly. Keep all but one sheep sheared so the pen isn't fully of dead lambs, butcher and remove sheep when there are too many. Don't leave junk lying around. That is all.
Clogged arteries are bad my friends.

Yes right on! I've seen this in a couple towns which made compost go to sh...
One fertile sheep left alone will fill about 6 other spaces with its lambs before they start decomposing. Then you need a couple extra spaces for dung production. Any less space and you have to clear the artery before pumping anything out.

Yeah pretty much. Most Town sheep pen are covered in butchered sheep and shit. I just tell my kids to clean the sheep pen, Even a new player could do it.

You can't stack mutton or put it in the baskets, right? I tried clearing out sheep pen last night and I just couldn't figure it out. But then domesticated boar gutted me. So much for domestication...
