Bumping this post.
Steps to reproduce:
1: Craft a file blank
2: Get a cooked goose
3: Eat one half of the goose
4: Try to oil the file blank with the second half of the goose
Expected result:
File is now an oiled file
Observed result:
Crafting does not work

Oh, I've seen that too. Ate half the smithie's goose to not starve and ruined the steel file he was making. That should be fixed.
