Every time I'm born I'm very close to starving. It used to be 4/4 IIRC. Bug? Feature?

Huh? I think you are always born with 2/4.
Probatly your game loads a bit longer but you are already spawned, so maybe your mums already grabbed you up and fed you?

2/4 is normal. If your mom walks away, don't want you to suffer long. But if she feeds you at least once, you can last a while.

Is this every life or just the first one when loading up game first time? I've noticed the first game I play of any session, the time it takes for loading in is increased. Often I will have been already named. Any other birth I'm straight in there (well outa there...)
