Walled garden

I stumbled on a totally walled-off milkweed garden that was luxurious and protected from filthy industrial hands.

I wonder... Is there absolutely no way to remove walls from the game? Also I wondered about removing milkweed stumps, shovels do not seem to work.

Re: Walled garden

I'd like everything to be removable.  When building a town, stuff like swamp grass gets in the way.

Re: Walled garden

Maybe removable further up the tech tree, and workarounds for lower on the tech tree? Throw some sticks together to make a ladder, if you're in the early game, or craft an iron hammer if you're a little bit further.

It's kind of mad and brilliant. It's the first true shrine in the game, dedicated to the sacred milkweed. Like a museum of the holy fruit, never for plucking and only for worship and wonder.

At the rate some of the servers are going, it might be the only milkweed left.

On my last spawn as an eve, I had to run for what had to be about 10 in game years before I found a biome that hadn't been completely destroyed, even the milkweed there was scant. Fortunately my children knew the way, so hopefully they have managed it wisely and started growing it as well.

Re: Walled garden

I think it is Box Eden on the map. The very first touristic attraction of the universe! We have our fabled suspended garden.

The game world is HUGE. Milkweed won't run out. We may need expeditions to bring back the seeds though. Or move to saner places.
