At this time we didn't had anything to counter griefers, they went pretty hard on us but we still made better towns that the actual ones you live in the past months.
Random spawn was pretty unique, it was still fun to play eve. You had more choice.
My point is, since Jason removed coordenates we used to look (which helped us going back and making maps of servers like it was a world growing, true civilisations), I think that the actual eve spawn is now obselet. Towns get wipe out in a day, which I think is too short. We don't need to spawn 20 minutes away from last eve spawn who suicided for a new going in a town, let's make them find ruins or towns with people if they want not to got into the pure wildness.
Players would love to have neighboors, trading or fighting against, anything, making roads more often. No more incest. I only had one neighboor since new eve spawns after all this time, but they were still family and everybody died.
I think decay is too fast, I dont bother making stuff, I just stab people in corners so I dont lose my time or snitch items people drops. This is sad but the game makes us do that, we always take the easy way and being bee is for hopeless people. I want this to stop. I think reducing (or removing it simply) will make people feel less useless that they already are, as everybody will die with actual system.
Knowing that there is still hope out there should motivate players even more.
Bells are totally useless let's face it.

I see that no line lasted more than a day in the past week.
But are the towns that we see around REALLY only a day old?
There have been bell towers completed, and that takes 18 hours minimum.
I think that Eve spawn is perhaps close enough that people are finding old towns and keeping them going.
I could make it a bit closer, though. But I don't necessarily want people keeping old towns going after the family dies off there. I want NOT DYING OFF to be the primary way that people keep a town going.

Easy solution to stop killing is to stop killing ? Very smllart sherlock but if players can do things easily, they wont bother to be mean to have what they want like in real life.

Yeah if they can find their home back too easily it is game killing indeed.
Why not make the random spawn of eves not spawning in a large radius of where they were, so the only things they can find are new things they never worked for. They wont be able to come back where they lived.
The time they have to walk for reaching new towns could be still long but not too long so there can be social interactions more often. Not too near so people don't flik and flak.
The spawn place ban could make people not respawning in the nearby village and revenge too.

Personally i would like to see eves spawn in pairs, so that theres more than one family going, and towns can get up and running faster

If Eves spawned in pairs, they would just go in different direction (not necessarily a problem). If they stayed together you'll just deplete the natural foods double as fast and collapse the society before anything gets done. You can't support 2 bloodlines for very long anyway given the necessary population.

but even if they went in different directions, they wouldn't be so far as the families would never meet ever. that actually could be a good idea to have distinct towns not too far from each others.
I will be eve tana. If not an eve, my kids will be called numerically : Primo, Duo, Tertio, Quattro, Quintus, Sextus, Septimus, Octavius etc... ending with an -a if you're a girl.

Every time I "find" an empty town, it is because i spawn directly in it.
In the past you could find small settlemends by walking. Never happened to me since the change - I got a few more spawns in towns (living and dead) tho

Every time I "find" an empty town, it is because i spawn directly in it.
#metoo I never stumbled upon town ruins or even old village. If I find old town, I'm spawned directly into it.

I have one time find an old town, the last week.. But I don't know if that was a part of my town of another town. Stumbled around when there weren't females and then found it lol.
Everybody there was long dead though, so I guess it was older? Only old corpses.

If you see corps, it is pretty recent. Maybe between 1 of 3 hours if i remember well.
