I appreciated reading this. Sorry for not being here for you when you came back to our little town. My death was quite tragic, as I was shot by a member of the other branch of the West family.
This was a very good story though!

Ah, thanks for your opinions! And for the link, as I couldn’t find your lineage and couldn’t add it at first.

I was Warrior!
That story really touched my heart. Getting to read the backstory, where you came from and everything. Glad to have met you in this life, I feel like it completely changed the way things went down.
What would've happened if I hadn't found you and Eve? My mother seemed determined to turn me into a murderer this run. Hell, her first words upon me spawning were "Do you want to join the militia, and fight for our honor?"
I was thinking something along the lines of a police force. Something to keep the peace, defend the town from outside threats like snakes and bears, to take out any griefers before they do too much damage.
Instead she pointed out the other Wests, of which we bore no relation, and told me they were invaders. That they were evil. That we were going to war.
Sure didn't look like war to me. Everyone was working hard. Nevertheless, she found a bow and arrow laying around, grabbed it, and said she'd train me to take out these foolish invaders.
I honestly thought that if I'd said no, she'd start shooting. Seemed best to go along with it, or at least appear neutral. She died pretty young too, and her dreams of chaos died with her.
After burying you and placing my arrow upon your grave, I settled in the fields and stayed there until my death. I tried to find your reincarnation in my last few years, but couldn't find hide nor tail. Didn't know if you died earlier, or ventured off back towards your previous home, or just weren't around.
I think I made it back to your and eves' graves before I passed. I passed on your hat and shoes to a youngster in camp, and asked someone to bury me near you two - my true family - before I faded early to starvation.
Was a beautiful run and story, I hope to see you again in another life!
