The Plant family

I watched this village grow from a population of 2 to almost 20.

To my loved ones,

I was so proud of all of my children for what they did to get this village back alive.

To my mother,

Thank you for raising me. I hope I made you proud! You have great grandchildren and great great grandchildren out there! The village has plenty of food and we have a forge going!

To my dearest Finlay,

I love you so much son. I hope you live on after my death, no matter how hard it is without me. You were a soft spoken and gentle child in your youth.

Always know that I loved you all.

Hey! I was named after you, sadly I died young due to snake bite whilst out collecting rocks for a well! But Finlay was growing roses for you and your kids were going to bury you somewhere nice and put a rose on it last I saw!

You'll see me often as Eve Mcabee and Eve Laurent. Or at least I'll try to be! These days it's hard spawning in as Eve, I usually end up as a baby in some town instead!

Re: The Plant family

Mama,

I tried very hard to mark your grave. I planted you a rose bush and made a chisel, knife, and letter M for your grave. But I died before I could make the adze because I was forced to log offline. I asked a young man to finish the work I had started. I buried you next to a pine tree above the berry farm you had started, which grew as I got older.

I didn’t kill the snake because I didn’t want to hurt anything. I only used the knife for making the letter I for your grave. Sorry about that. The young man who helped me knows where I kept it for future or emergency use.

I wish you were reborn there. But you weren’t. The rest of the people went on and ignored your grave. I told them they should visit it and help me complete it, but they didn’t help me. They loved you too though. We missed you after your death.

I’m sorry I wasn’t more help. I loved you and missed you so much after you died. You were he best Mama ever.

Finlay

Re: The Plant family

Don't worry I ended up finishing both your graves up before I stepped on a snake like most the family. Both you and your mother Finlay have marked graves next to each other by the farm. I wasn't quick enough to hand you the mallet to finish your mothers grave and that's my fault for not realizing sooner you wanted a mallet and not that saw.

Son and mother lay side by side each with a rose adorning their graves to commemorate their love for each other.

fug it’s Tarr.

Re: The Plant family

Thank you so much Tarr! I don’t know if I can thank you enough. It’s sad that you stepped on a rattlesnake... what an anticlimactic ending to your life. I should have killed it while I had the chance.

Yeah, my old man memory made a mistake when I asked for a saw instead of an adze tongue Sorry about that.

Again, thank you so so much. I can’t thank you enough.

Aww this was sweet to read from start to finish! Glad to know both Finlay and Kim got graves in the end!
