Death of civ by low birth rate

I'm hugely in favor the lineage ban. An individual or group should not "own" a town.

However, recently, I've been a part of multiple civs that have died to lack of girls. Here's the latest: http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … &id=342605 . Notice I had one birth in my life and he was a boy.

Its just really anti-climatic. Not starvation. Not running out of "resources." Not even murder or bears. Its fine if this happens once in a while, maybe due to bad mothers who don't take care of their kids. But we would have and could have, if there were any.

Is it the lineage ban? Are there not enough players playing in general?

I think it's not enough players.
I usually see around 70 when I look here:

And in the late night hours there's even less people.

I do wish there were more odds of birthing a female if you haven't birthed in a while.

I feel the same way! Because most of these civilizations are great though with less populations, and most of the time it's dying out. I personally think its the male ratio. I've been reborn multiple times as a male. 7:2 (male:female). And when I'm in these long lineage about 25-50 generations. I birth more boys than girls! I just wish somehow the ratio for boys would go down especially when it gets late in the day. Because of my job. I have no choice but to play in the A.M. time.

The ratio of birthing a girl should definitely be increased if a woman is aging and hasn’t birthed one in a while.
