The story of Jessie and Jessie

I was born a girl to a large town and given the name of Jessie. Initially, I wanted to bake pies, but we already had about seven people and we were mass producing pies, so I left in search of another job. There was only one boy looking after the sheep, so I decided to put on a straw hat and become a shepherd. I joined Knight in the pen and asked if I could help him, and he said 'sure'. So we raised many sheep together and scooped the poop (though that was mainly me!). Not much happened in the years as I grew up, so I'll fast forward a little bit.
I was a teenager and of child rearing age when I realised that I had a crush on Knight. I wanted to marry him and for us to watch our children grow up together, but I was shy. I barely spoke to him, and eventually he left the pen. I don't know what he did next, but I missed him. One day as I was tending to the sheep, the Queen came along and killed some sheep. I didn't contradict her, because she was the Queen, but I felt that she should shear the sheep before killing them. Someone told her so, but she ignored them. Later this Queen was killed because she wanted to kill all boys, but I'm getting ahead of myself. The berry farm was far away from the sheep, so I had to make a journey from the pen, to the berry farm, to the carrot farm, to the pen again. It was on one of these journeys that I saw a baby boy born in the forge area. He asked for food, but his mother just said 'sorry'. She must have been to busy smithing to take care of a baby. So, I took the baby under my wing. The only thing I asked his mother for was to name him, so that he wouldn't be just nameless. To my delight, she named him 'Jessie'.
I want you to know, Jessie Jr.'s mum, if you're here, that I have no hard feelings towards you.
Jessie Jr. and I took a tour around the town, before I gave him clothes and a backpack. It warmed my heart when, after his mother named him, Jessie Jr. said "ur" "mum" "now". When Jessie grew, I wished him good luck and released him into the wild. Then came another thirty boring years of farming and shepherding, though other people had taken over my job as a shepherd now. We had a sheep leakage once, but we fixed it pretty quickly.
A while later, I was eating some berries when Knight, my childhood sweetheart, came over to me. He said "Jessie", and I felt all those feelings resurface in me again. I said "yeah?" and he placed his backpack on the floor. "Here you are my dear". I felt all giddy, but all I said was "thanks!" and he walked off again.
I never saw him again after that.
It was now that my hair started to fall out, and lost its colour slightly. I had had no children. But I realised that wasn't true. I had Jessie Jr. I looked around for him, fearing the worst, but found him safe and sound. We had a nice chat, in which I told him that I had had no other children, and to do me proud. He said he would help the town and I said he was the best son I could ask for. He promised to bury me when I died, and I told him I would die at the forges where he was born.
After this, I tried to shepherd for a while again, but it was so hard to make the journeys between the farms that I just gave up after a while. Instead, I made a little clothes shop, except the clothes were free. It was too late in my life, I think, to start making clothes, so I recycled clothes that were lying around and got some donations from elderly people. I helped four babies get clothing early on in their lives. However, soon it became too hard, and I took a berry and went to the forges to die. As I arrived, there were two blacksmiths. One was my sister.
"I'm going to die here, ok?" I said.
"Ok," said my sister.
We spoke for ages about our lives and how we hadn't seen our mother in ages. Then I brought up Jessie Jr.
"A man called Jessie will look for me" I said. "Show him my body pls."
"Ok," my sister agreed."Related?"
"No," I said.
"Lover?"
"No. I adopted him."
"Aww! Cute!" she exclaimed. We spoke a while longer, before I decided to dedicate my last words to Jessie Jr.
"Better get some last words in," I said. And then I realised how hilarious it would be if those were my last words. But I was going to dedicate them to Jessie Jr....
"Yep" said my sister. And then "Hold them there!"
Jessie Jr. or humour...
My son or humour...
It was an easy choice.

I went for humour.

And shortly afterwards, I died. Sorry Jessie Jr.!
