The story of Ned and Robben

I was born as a baby boy in a large village. My mother named me Ned and she loved me dearly. As soon as I was old enough she gave me all of her clothes and told me to find a job. I looked around for a bit but every job was already taken by 2 or more people. Then I saw a big unfinished stone wall with nobody working on it, so I started digging and carving rocks. I became the town builder. I would often entertain my little brother Robben by cracking jokes about how slow I was walking while holding the massive boulders. My brother really seemed to look up to me and would often hang around my workspaces and watch me work. One day my dearest brother came over to me while I was carving rocks and said “Ned” I nodded at him, wanting him to continue. He waited a while before pulling a sharp knife out of his backpack “Ned run” I was absolutely terrified and bolted down to the farm where everyone could see me. My brother came skipping after me a few minutes later “Ned” he said again, starting at me. His icy stare turned into a happy one “I was only joking Ned” I was very releaved but in that moment I knew Robben wasn’t really right in the head. But I still loved him very dearly and I promised to take care of him no matter what.
I kept a close eye on my little brother but I clearly wasn’t keeping the eye as close as it needed to be kept. News about murder spread trough the city and I instantly knew who it was. I was hoping and praying that it wouldn’t happen again but as I was grabbing some food from the farm I saw him end the life of a little boy right in front of me. “Ned” he said “They all hate me, Ned” “Do you hate me, Ned?” Blood covered his hands as he said this to me, he was a bloodthirsty killer but I still felt for him, I still loved him so I said “No, I don’t hate you. I will always be on your side, no matter what” He nodded at me and ran away. The town had a meeting about what to do with Robben, they all decided to guard the farm
And the bakery with bows and knives so that he couldn’t get any food. I repeatedly begged them not to hurt my brother but they wouldn’t listen. The years went by and they were all on guard. I continued to scream at them to stop but they saw me as a criminal as well and refused to listen. Our mother was devistated and our older brother tried to comfort her to the best of his efforts. While they were busy chatting I spotted you and ran over to you “Ned, please bring me some food” I could see that you were starving so I bolted and you you some carrots. You thanked me and left. The townies got wind of this and shot me on sight. My last words were “You are no better than him, you animals” “Killing an innocent man” I don’t know what happened afterwards but I saw you got shot. Your last words were an apology but you had nothing to apologize for. I couldn’t protect you and so you died, I’m the one who should be apologizing.

Normally I disapprove of killing, but based on that particular set of names, I can only think that violence and death were inevitable, perhaps even appropriate. Anybody who names their kids after Game of Thrones characters should probably just expect it to all end in horrible tragedy.

wassup i was robben i got killed when i asked for peace. bcuz he dropped his bow i picked up his bow but i didnt knew he had a knife so when i was typing for peace he killed me. when you died i was running around getting food from a nice lady. then i ran around looking for you. the only thing i saw was a dead body at the farm. then i knew it when you brought me food the guard saw you. he thought u where with me and thats why he shot you. When i died i knew i failed i was a failure. i couldve killed him and avenged you but i didnt. so the moment he stabbed me i knew i made a big mistake. then i screamed in pain forgive me ned. then i dropped to the cold ground. the guard was our little brother bran. i couldve killed him when he was young but i missed and killed someone else.

Mom never gave me attention she gave me a name and left me i found a knife when i made a knife when i was pretty young. Im sorry ned but that knife just gave me power. and you know i almost killed you many times but i didnt. my first victim was a little boy named philip i said run philip. he ran but then he came back. then i said that was a mistake and stabbed him. he looked confused. i felt good i was thinking about my next victim. i wanted to kill that old man who said im gonna kill you. but then i came across our little brother bran he said that i was an asshole everyone said that they hated me. i felt anger and sadness. then bran stood still i didnt saw the kid behind bran. when bran ran away i killed the kid behind him.

then you came ned and saw i killed the kid. i felt cold inside and hoped you didnt hated me for it. you said you didnt hate me. that was the moment i wanted too stop killing.

but the city didnt want me anymore i couldnt just go back. so i ran. i felt alone in the Woods at some berry bushes. i found a second knife in the Woods. i hide it behind a tree. some years passed and a little kid found me in the Woods. i had a knife ready in my hand i felt the power. my vision turned black. i ran after her with my knife. she escaped barely. then some more years passed and the berry bushes where empty so i had to get food at the city. then you came and helped me. you where my hero ned. but in some way i killed you too. i ended up getting some food from a friendly lady and her son. then i went back to the farm for peace. then i got killed.

I btw came across that village again and the stone wall was getting freaking huge and i found my hidden knife. so i protected the village.

Well that's such a great and tragic story, Master Greta. "Ned forgive me" as Robben last words gave me chills.
