Female characters can go to their biome band borders, wait for a child (this is how overpowered the current fertility system is... it doesn't require doing anything but existing), and then permanently leave one's biome borders. They can keep the number of players affecting their genetic score change low that way. On the other hand, male characters have to either kill their sisters or mother (which though such can be beneficial for genetic score isn't always) or luck out and not have their relatives have a high number of relatives to keep the number of players affecting their genetic score lower.
A fertility system where no one is fertile by default and every birth requires two players consenting to fertility would solve that imbalance.
