I would think that you got a message with the rule you violated.

I've heard you've been on the discord before.

I note that, in case you don't know, fug is a mod on the discord under his other name.  The rules for the discord and the forums don't differ much, if at all.

Check rules-for-mods for details of the rules on the discord, as it does include rules for the forums also, if you want to know more.

One thing it says is the following on May 3rd, 2018, which I quote in full:

Mods will be enforcing these rules much more vigorously than before.  They have the power to put people into a temporary timeout now, and they will use it without warning.  The timeout is your warning.  If you find yourself in a timeout, see if you can think back about your recent behavior and figure out why.  Then prepare to be the best, nicest version of yourself when you come back.
