An Eve can run for a while to spread families out more. It's not necessarily too bad if Eve's children run for a while before finding a spot also, even if Eve runs her whole life. Perhaps due to food generational decline, inter generational trips of a dozen or so generations may present some issues. But, all lineages are doomed anyways a priori, so why care about lineage length? Some family dying out sooner means that things can spread out more.
What would be the point of trying to spread families out more? Well, who the hell wants more of the garbage of race restrictions and more frustration, annoyance, boredom, etc. from all that comes with race restrictions? Who the hell wants to have to baby suicide to ginger to do an oil rig when the server or a town needs it? Who the hell wants snowmen to only appear ever near Ginger villages? Who the hell wants bright Yule Trees to be unlikely to get made in a given town, because steps of making such a tree is behind racially locked objects? Who the hell wants singing cardinals to be unlikely to appear because of racially locked objects in a given town?

A thoughtless eye roll. I for one am not surprised that Rookwood responds like this.

And Dodge with all of his talk of wanting the game to be harder over the course of many threads, seeks to emphasize such a thoughtless eye roll.

Or maybe he is poking fun at the idea of "quoting for emphasis"?
Just an idea.
