There's a current bug where seconds per food pip fluctuates a bit in desert tiles only. Unless, it's not a bug, I suppose.

This probably belongs in the bug report section.
What exactly are you seeing happen on desert tiles? Does a similar thing happen in the arctic?

This probably belongs in the bug report section.
It's there also, with more details, and the first source on this, which is a clip from Morti streaming.
I did check on the arctic after seeing the desert bug. The seconds per food is constant there (iirc it's 4.8 seconds per food).
Desert bottoms out at 4.0 seconds per food, then it rises and fluctuates. I've seen at 4.7 seconds per food. If it were just 4.0 and 4.1, I think I'd ignore it. But, it's fluctuated too much, that I think there's really a bug, and not just some display issue.

By "bug report section" I mean on the Github... not in bug discussion.

Oohhh! I was looking on the forum and couldn't find it.
I always forget that github is the main place for bug reporting.
...
It is kind of sad/funny to see how many things get reported as bugs that are not bugs. There are three different reports of Mushroom Madness on the first page of the Bugs forum. Although, to be fair, one of them is regarding the actual bug that happens if you die while tripping and then you just keep on falling forever.

!
Here's a tip.. if this happens and your next life is a permanent trip. Take another dose. If you eat mushrooms it will be a double trip but then fades back to normal. I learned this out of desperation one life.
I am a dirty, dirty roleplayer. I roleplay in the game, sometimes on the forum and if I'm being honest, a bit in real life. I can't help myself. I'm a dirty, dirty roleplayer. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Oh interesting. I knew you could break it by logging off, but I didn't realize a second shroom would reset the timer.
Makes sense.
