ADD-ON: OnePirateOneNavigator - Inofficial statistic and compass AddOn

What it does:
29868347e93f49629dbfd517f551b09c.png

What i planned to do in the future:
-Graphical map system
-Add preferred positions with a simple click (you currently have to change xml files, but it is possible during runtime!)
-Add new server with a simple click (you currently have to change the xml files, but it is possible during runtime!)
-Better performance. If you currently have performance issues (Cycletime > 5s): simply restart OHOL

When will the updates come:
-The map system maybe never, because i dont like the current evolution of this game. Many cities are destroyed.
-The rest can be even done by some simple scripting, because the software reacts to xml file changes immediately.
-Cleaning performance issues takes much time, because i did not intend to expand this software that big.

EDIT:
The Absolute coordinates on the official server now got deactivated.
If you want to get the gaming expierience with a map system, then simply connect to one of the private servers.

I understand about the updates, the maps that people created are kind of useless now. I suppose people can try rebuilding where cities once were? But the coordinates for this are still pretty helpful! Thanks.

The private servers are the reason why i still think about implementing a graphical map system.
E.g. the coordinates that i inserted for the private server "onehour.world" are still valid.
this tool is very helpful especially for private servers, where cities wont be destroyed.

But also for the official servers, the "preferred positions" are useful:
You can simply change the XML file during runtime and add your own destinations and name them like you want or delete old ones.
Sadly, absolute coordinates are deactivated on the official servers from now on, so you can only use the "preferred positions" for saving some stuff during your current run.

Very nice
But we are starting to cross the "hack" line.

It’s a game where the source code for both the server and client are provided by the author for players to do with ‘as they like’. So that would probably include making your own client or mods using the data to play how you want. I don’t think anything really counts as ‘a hack’

This isn't a hack as it's reading available data - hacking is if he is injecting unintended code in the game.

Coordinates are still placed in the log, but I've had to use the "Sending message to server: MOVE 56611 109507 -1 0 -2 0 -3 0 -4 1#" line now to view the exact coordinates.

Great work on the interface, it looks amazing!

How about making a program that graphically records the the map grid in the player's area at a given time so we could make maps?

Like a minimap? As far as I can tell, this can't be done until Jason allows mods to interface directly with the executable as most of the map is in memory (not actually logged in the console)

Servers can allow map pulling but it's not enabled on the public server.
