there where plenty around in town from time to time....

Maybe because they are on a flat rock, you thought oh its smithing stuff...

Are you referring to the fried eggs in game?  Goose eggs fried on a flat rock and then plated?  No corn needed.

Are you referring to the fried eggs in game?  Goose eggs fried on a flat rock and then plated?  No corn needed.

you can feed domesticated geese to get goose eggs or you wait a bunch with wild canadian geese.

I don't think that waiting works anymore.   Wild eggs do not respawn.

I really I would be able to use potatoes for more stuff when I saw them in the game.

I mean, they're so versatile! Boil them, mash them, stick them in a stew...

Also: potato salad, potato cassarole, potato soup, hash browns, potato pancakes...

And what about shrimp?

You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There's shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.

I LOVE your maths. It will take me a bit to digest that info.

I try to keep my mind open to opinions. I kinda like the idea of corn being a bit more efficient while wheat being a bit easier. At the end of the day a Yum is a Yum.

Corn is king in my book. Wheat is probably better short term for emergency food production and easier to manage for sure.  I hate breaking a hoe every time I plant a field of wheat only slightly less then shucking a couple piles of fresh corn, so corn is king haha.

I want to work as a data analyst, stats/optimization/analysis are my hobbies. I started to capture Ohol's data to answer a single question.

What is the most efficient way to consume our resources?
To answer this question you need to break it in 3 parts.
-Insulation (what clothes do we produce?)
-food diet ( what and how much food we produce?)
-city design (how much space do we need to produce it?)

I want to study Visual basic and I don't have time for my Ohol project.
So I could use some help if you like to do calculation in excel.

visual c# is lot more fun... and actually compiled to the same meta language...

c# is also much more close to other good languages like c++

Well, I meant Visual basic for applications (it's for excel) I don't know if excel is compatible with any other language.
I am a noob at coding btw so I will start with the simple stuff.
