Buff idea for language people.

Language people are pretty usseles right now. But they "smart". Red dye+blank paper = recipe/schematic blank paper. Person who have skill (smith for example can use smithing hammer and forge) take this blank recipe and writes "Smith" or "How to smith" and gives that recipe to person2. Person2 read that recipe (get a blank recipe back) and get some buffs in smith profession for the rest of life: he moves faster near firing forge, have a chance not consume iron or coal, and forge will work longer. Diffrent buffs for diffrent profession. So language people can trade their knowledge for something or come to another color village and help.

Ability for children to chose main skill earlier: kid chose instrument, pick it and get a tag above head "smith", "cook", "hunter". Some kind a ritual or tradition.

Ability to wear instruments on backpack like a sword.

The thing you suggest is too complicated make it simple like:
Make white ppl more enjoyable to play than other races by removing freaking tool slot from their race or lose less hunger over time or mining iron cost no hunger ...
Jason doesn't like buff so it is more likely he will never read this and anything have the word "buff"

I like the idea of removing tool slot restrictions for them, but really they need something to trade, a role to play. They definitely feel very expendable right now.

I think white should merge with ginger.   Then we have three races and everybody has a special biome with special resources.  Nobody is homeless and lacking resources.

To be honest I've had the idea of whites experiencing no homesickness in other people's villages. This way they can still be around for translation when they're needed, maybe even charge a tax in material for their homeland to keep them running? We'd have to kill paper translation for them to have an edge though.

They can make red paper, then go to other race and make someone from there to use a pen on it. Then take it to next race to buff their knowledge of that language. By that they could have something to trade for.

I have also idea about giving them 'water' biome and ability to make oil rigs there. xD By that 2 families would collect same resource, which means they would compete for clients.

Or just all whites to utilize the tundra biome, same as gingers.   Then they compete over oil spots.

Whites are second best miners. Best in regards for explaining and not locking up tech by being infertile miners but second best because they cant fetch bananas.

Remember not to raise kids when white. Do your part to help the server and be miners.

Funny enough it really is the best choice as you can support other families while being able to communicate what you're doing.

It capitalizes on their language specialty and lack of biome-locked resources quite nicely.   Gingers get oil, whites get iron, browns get rubber, and blacks get sulfur/horses.   It all works out as long as you enjoy jigsaw puzzles.
