Download

Hello Just not buying the game less than an hour ago very eager to start my first life when downloading the update I got hit with a message saying: " Move game folder somewhere that is not read-only." Then all I can do it quit the game. Any help or debugging ideas thank you.

Also, I am on a Windows OS

Update:

I have deleted the game and reinstalled it into a new folder or in the downloads even in there I get the same message.

Re: Download

Hey buddy, sorry for the late response. but this should fix your issue. If it does not then joining our discord is a good option since there are allot of active people there.

the combined solution is: move extractor to program files, extract it there, open folder properties, mark it as READ-ONLY then apply. Now UNMARK the read-only and apply AGAIN.

Re: Download

I got that message before. All I did was run the program from the folder I installed it in, which was /downloads I think. Opened the .exe there, game ran fine. Once I figured that out, I right clicked on the icon in that folder that worked (in this case, a giant dong), and made a shortcut to the desktop from there. Game opens fine now.

Re: Download

Hello, and I have moved the extractor into "Program Files (x86) and extracted it but received an error message saying. " Could not extract the file " and that's about it I joined the discord and asked for help in the general chat awaiting a response.

Re: Download

Did you try running the extractor as administrator?

Re: Download

I had that happened to me, too. What worked for me was moving the game folder in C:\.
