And it will improve speech with foreigners whilst drunk. Perfect for a banquet with the visiting foreign dignitaries.

Speaking of banquets, let's feast! Jason, give us tables and other furniture for our lovely homes so that we can be the best of hosts.

- Yum table, picking out what you haven't eaten already.

- Teaching chairs for longer conversations with slower hunger consumption.

- AFK beds for those brb people.

Yeah it'll likely be wine and feasts this update since he talked about feasts before and that was the whole reason for allowing upwards of 99 stored pips via overeating.

Was hoping for more alcohols at once but you get what you get

No idea how the apocalypse changed wine so that you could understand aliens better. It seems silly. But, maybe it's a good sillyness!

An idea for a yum table would be you can only put yum foods on it so you can store them for later.

So it probably comes from that silly study which circled around everywhere for a time that concludes people speak foreign languages better when they're intoxicated. Something something, no nerves and not afraid to make mistakes. Also, when I'm drunk and abroad in a country where I do not speak their language/English is not an option, I can still make myself understood with hand gestures and the like. Universal language if you will. Again alcohol helps.

Not 100% scientific but an as good implementation of it as one can with the game mechanics and their limitations.

If we had barrels we could age wine!

so we could get young, old, aged wine (aged being the best)

Think about this you make a barrel
Boards+ iron ring (or some thing like that)

then put Crock of Must into the baral (you get the crock back) and wait

10 min for Crock of Must to become young wine

30 min for young wine to become old wine

60 min for old wine to become aged wine

so that processing wine is a multigenerational project, now for a neat addition, depending on the biome you age the wine in changes the tast/type of wine exp: Jungle wine, Desert wine, or Tundra wine

Or to make whites do something besides translating, they could be the only ones to age wine, giving them a reason to exists in late game

My land (Catalunya) is a country with a strong tradition of good wines
Traditionally the wine was obtained with presses and barrels or with large open barrels and many people stepping on the grapes
Making wine with a spoon is very strange and unrealistic

That said, if it does, I'd guess I'd have the expectation of trying to imagine how spoons could have changed to have become so different in a futuristic post-apocalyptic world. Like one time, if you remember, the apocalypse resulted in all horses on carts in deserts having the lassos used to noose them drop at their feet. And that doesn't seem realistic for a post-apocalyptic world. One might think for example that spoons could still get used to pick berries out of a bowl in such a world. But, somehow no one could use a spoon in that way anymore. Which even for modern people living in a post-apocalyptic world sounds rather implausible.

Jason, have you thought about adding presses to make wine?
to create clothes we need looms ... why not use wine presses?
the process would be a little more realistic
