Is there a way to close recipe tab

I find it extremely annoying that the / tab that shows recipes stays open and keeps changing as i pick up things and move around. Is there some way to close it? For the life of me I can't figure that out.

Open the chat box by hitting enter and then type a slash, then hit enter. Should reset it.

No, that does absolutely nothing. If i type, for instance, /ROPE - then the tab stays on the rope related steps. But / ENTER goes back to the problem I'm talking about.

Also, on the guide there is says [Z]. What the heck is this for? Typing Z seems to do nothing.

No, recipe tab always stays open if you click things. You can only close a recipe you searched for (with / ). Why is it bothering you? It's not that big tbh.

Not sure what the Z is for, maybe it does the same as TAB or pages back thru the recipes the other way? I can't check since with the mod I'm using since I don't have to press enter before typing what I want to say (it just immediately brings up the text box). Think you still have to press enter first in vanilla, right? Try pressing z without the text box up

TAB moves the list forward, Z-TAB moves it backward.
