Also grieffers lost their power. I feel like arc will last for too long now. I know most people will be happy with that, but personally I prefer 3 days arcs.
I kinda feel like this arc won't end untill we run out of oil.

Three of the five oldest family lines ever are from this arc. I think the new baby distribution and curse changes were both a great success.

Now the big problem that remains is that we go from zero tech to the top of the tech tree very early on in the arc, and it's just stagnation from that point on.

Jason a quick fix to the lower amount of items in the meantime, would be to lengthen out task that take 30s such as Iron mining with an engine to 4minutes, same with oil and water etc etc.
This means players have to dedicate themselves to the task, and getting stupid amounts of oil quickly not possible.

Hats off to the builders this arc. City walls look great, amazing really. I've seen some beautiful parks and treescapes too! Little waysides along the road just make that travelling less desolate feeling as well.  You really have outdone yourselves this arc. Great job folks! I think my favorite spot was the nice little oven room for making rubber.

Too long have things felt so impermanent with all the war and lines dying out due to baby shortages. I think with the longer arc we can really get back to building amazing structures. I kindof held back this time and just kept to making order out of chaos, but next arc, I'll be ready.

Good overall arc. A shame it ended on how all arcs end with trolls deciding to end it via killing the derps.

New baby system seems to work great, permanence at  8000 years seemed good. The only bad part is as stated  the stagnation after the first day or two due to the game going into maintenance mode.

What are these new(?) Gold monuments? I saw one while searching for oil a couple days ago and was going to ask about it, but forgot until Jason's post reminded me. It had one gold sphere in it with space for two more and the recipe from clicking on it was something like "gold + monument with gold = monument with gold".

Well, back in my day, we had what was known as the Apocalypse, and it was a craftable server reset. Basically you'd craft gold discs and place them in the monolith, then hitch up a horse wearing a crown, and *poof*.

The monoliths stuck around, but they don't trigger the apocalypse anymore.

The next arc doesn't seem to have legs as much as the last arc did... which leaves the question... how much of a difference did the existing infrastructure left over at reset make on how stable the "wife oven" families were?
