only identical twins

I'd like to know if twins are always identical, (appearance and sex).
Does Jason plan on adding non-identical twins, either for players deciding to get born together, or for players deciding to get born at the same time?

He liked the idea better of always having identical twins+ rather than having fraternal twins. Pretty sure he has no plans on adding fraternal twins at this point so the only way this is possible is with lucky birth cooldown spawns.

If you choose to be a twin with your friend you will be identical, but if you are born and less then a minute later another baby is born they can be your non identical twin

It’s probably a bug, but I had in one life seemingly gotten assigned a twin sister (I wasn’t twinning with), when I was born a boy. Here’s lineage link for proof:

That seems like fraternal twins to me.
