Jason, are swords broken?

Right now they have no cool down, you can put a bloody sword in a bag. Is that how it is supposed to be or is this a bug?

Re: Jason, are swords broken?

Yeah, they probably shouldn't be able to be put in a bag (specifically bloody ones). I mean, I guess it would make for assassin gameplay, but I don't really think that's what he's (or should be) going for.

Edit: On the other hand, after thinking more on it, would this really be an issue? You could put it in your bag; but the guy running into town, bleeding out, telling everyone about how the outsider "john smith" killed him would kind of give it away lol. I was thinking, in my original reply, of a scenario where some gets slashed, and the guy goes into town with his bloody sword hidden away and no one would know that he had killed someone. But after thinking on it, I just find that scenario very unlikely.

Believe you're right, but don't believe you can't be wrong.

Swords are working as intended... you can really go to town with them.  They may change in the future.

In fact, I just walked 3K to a bell town.  Finally met people speaking a different language.  We had a brief exchange before they pulled out two swords and laid me down.  I was stabbed about a dozen times.  It was hilarious and amazing.

I'm not too surprised, actually. xD

I'm pretty sure the new meta will be something along the lines of:

- Don't get close to any outsider unless you're sure they're not holding anything dangerous.
- If you see an outsider carrying a sword, shout "RAIDER" and kill them immediately. No questions asked.

I would appreciate a slight cooldown too though.

Thank you for your hard work

Were you male or female? Did you bring weapons?

Hmmm, while I know many people don't share the same opinion, that actually makes me pretty happy. Personally, I've always hated bell town as a concept.
