I was born to the benito family. our town was still very young, i saw my grandma eve benito die of the fever. i spent the majority of my life slowly expanding our farm from a tiny 3x3 to a large berry field. i worked hard and had several children.
one of which i had grown quite attached to. her name was mellany. then when she had to leave during her childhood, she stayed afk so i put her in a warm place that she wouldn't be in anyone's way and fed her so she'd oneday give me a grandchildren.
all was good until one miss marianna noticed that she was afk. she told me not to feed her. i tried to explain that she was warm and wouldn't need much food, and that we only had two female kids so she'd birth more. but marianna wasn't having it. she yelled at me and stood next to my baby with a knife to warn me not to feed her again. so i bid my time and farmed and was happy to she that my grandson (from my only other surviving daughter) was also feeding my baby.
after awhile marianna left and gave her backpack with the knife to her daughter Laila. I thought it was now safe to care for my baby again, but i was wrong. when laila saw what i was doing she told me she was going to kill my precious Mellany. i panicked and ran to my baby and stood in front of her saying that she couldn't, and that mellany had just reached adulthood and would soon have babies of her own.
of course by now the entire town had gathered, me and my grandson were protecting mellany, laila's kid was demanding that her mother give her the knife so she could kill my baby herself, and no one could do anything because we only had the one knife.
then during all the chaos mellany her a baby. i scooped her up and named her mary. but as soon as i had moved laila plunged the knife into poor mellany's chest.
in the panic that ensued many more people died, including baby mary, my grandchildren james and evea, and my last surviving child maria.
i died at 59 sitting next to the bones of all those whom i had ever loved.

That's dark. Laila, Laila's kid and Marianna are all idiots if they didn't realise they were running low on females
