Coming back to OHOL

Hey guys!
I've been away from OHOL since before steam integration was suggested. Mostly out of frustration and boredom and just wanting to go out and do other stuff elsewhere. But its been awhile and I am hoping the steam baby boom has quiet down and have heard about the jungle update and want to give it a go soon. Anyone interested in dealing out some advice or tidbits of knowledge before I be brought into the new world?

You will need it to locate the currently over-nerfed iron and scarce pond water.
But do most of your traveling at default view so you can see the disease carrying mosquitoes.
