Traveling in a group is hard because we're blind as naked mole rats. (Can we at least craft glasses that give us 20/20 vision?)
This does raise an excellent idea of having a group compass that points towards "your leader". There's hope for migration yet!

I'm not a roleplayer but I am still really interested in partnership things in-game. Who shall be my right hand man/woman? What kind of player are they? Can we make it together? Will they die in an accident? Can I save them? Can I sacrifice myself for them?
I would be the quiet but terribly loyal and kind partner.

No hugs or such though. Staring at each other is enough for getting babies. Maybe hold my hand and pull me through the wilderness to the best spot.
Would love genetics. Like mixing and matching parts and changing hues to make unique offspring for every pair.

By splitting characters up into physical parts and applying genetics to it you can make exponentially more character types than having to draw each and every person individually.

Think of it like those body flip books for kids where you exchanges hair and faces and body parts.

Adam & Eve spawns is also more fun than being an abandoned Eve baby.

I figured the best way to implement dads would be to have the women choose one as an option on her screen, and then that selection just shows as a face in the status bar, and is the dad of her next kids. If she doesn't choose anyone then a random male gets chosen for the next baby-daddy. That way there's no hugging or kissing or stalking, and it doesn't slow down players being spawned.

The girl needs to be old enough to get kids when she can choose her husband. But i think the husband maybe should say he wants to be with the girl tho because maybe the guy wanted to marry someone else?

and if noone chooses a husband and the girl gets a kid then the nearest boy should be dad.

Travelling in a group isn't THAT hard with just a regular cart or on foot. But you don't go that fast.
On horse it is much harder (speed) which makes me wish we had wagons.
