Wild West Justice

First, I killed a child with a knife. She was eating all of our carrots.

Subsequently, it's been much easier to kill trolls and even people that have been doing something I don't like. I've killed maybe a dozen times in the last five days. But always for good reasons, I think! Just now, someone was building a wall around three sides of the farmland, effectively destroying our storage space and access to the south, east, and west from the farm. I kept telling them to stop, but they didn't listen. I shot them with an arrow.

Has anyone else done this? Am I becoming a monster?

Re: Wild West Justice

I've done it too. Someone kept taking my crafting supplies, Basically, I'd be trying to make something but I'd need one more thing to be able to make it. I'd go out to find it but when I returned someone had taken the supplies I'd gathered. I kept telling people to stop taking things from my workspace but I continued to have my either moved/stolen.

So it took me way longer to make stuff because I had to relocate/ regather the stuff that people had been messing with. I finally caught some women taking a cartload of threads and furs, I had intended to use this to make a set of clothing. I had my little workshop separated from the stuff in the main camp and I thought I had made it quite clear that I didn't want that stuff messed with.

I found out that this woman wasn't even from my tribe and that she had a base nearby. It turned out that she had been grabbing our stuff and moving it to her camp. So I crafted myself a knife, bow and some arrows. Now as an old man I finally got my revenge, I made my way over to her camp. I started by knifing all her kids right in front of her, she asked me why and I told her not to take what isn't her's. I then shot her with the bow and arrow. I took back all the stuff and told my tribe that the thief was no more.

Re: Wild West Justice

Realize that there is going to be a set of players out there looking to deconstruct any thing other players builds or just civilization in general. Wait till they can knock down your walls or one village/town wars another.
