How Murder Ruins a Lineage

When someone murders they killed player get lineage banned which means that even if a girl survives she wont have any babies unless she ran when she was young! This information will make my killing sprees easier now that i don't have to kill everyone big_smile

I name my self Amyx after my hot 8th grade science teacher  and my baby names are after hot girls in my school. big_smile

Re: How Murder Ruins a Lineage

Not sure this will work unless you play a couple lifetimes in that city in a row. There will always be other players in other camps when you go on your killing spree. They can still be born into the city. And then the ones you didn't kill plus others who were still in other camps will be born the next generation, and the next.

As much as I hate to say it, large cities can actually benefit from having a few people lineage banned. Good players are unlikely to die by your hand, meaning the ones you are killing are likely the less experienced players. As long as there is a good player or two around, the city will be fine, and having a few less unexperienced players can actually help the town. That being said, I still disagree with the morality of this strategy.

Basically, you will still need to kill a lot of people in bigger cities to kill the lineage (or at least all of the girls).

Re: How Murder Ruins a Lineage

Wasn't Eve stuff changed though? In addition to spawning to their old towns, Eves now have high chance of spawning into any city and civilization if they just died of Old Age. I know I have spawned into some other Eve's town as an Eve after just dying to Old Age in my last Eve life. So other Eves are constantly reviving other Eves' towns?

Would explain why so many cities have like three families living in them.

Eve's spawn in a location where there was another player at their time of death (when Eve's death is caused by old age). This makes it likely for them to spawn into cities, so even if a lineage dies, the city is likely to continue on. At least this is what people have told me when I asked the same question. My experiences in the game back it up. I've spawned in deserted cities often. None of them have been mine (sadly).
