Shutting the server down to get it updated with the latest desync fixes, back in an hour or so. You'll probably want to rejoin with updated clients after.

PS: I'll be enabling key checking on here too now so that some moderation is possible down the line.

Hmm, it's working for me and there's a couple other people on. Is your client up to date now and using a valid email/key?

Anyone else having the same problem?

Have you put in your key and updated your client?

You'll need to connect to the official servers (put 0 back into useCustomServer.ini) to update.

Getting the same thing, login failed.

I did the server switch to 0 and it downloaded the update but still no go for logging in.

In customServerAddress change new.norgg.org for localhost

I was having a fun time on this server until I realized bears aren't dangerous anymore. I really feel like it damages the game mechanics when there is NO threat of a bear coming into town and ravaging you.

I like the slower food rate, but the bear thing is bad.

If it's getting to saying login failed it probably means your email/key are wrong, double check them?

Any possibility of coding in a very low percentage of player spawns as actually dangerous wolves or bears? Maybe it's just asking for griefer trouble, but could lead to some epic man vs nature experiences. All those sagas of the great hunter tracking down a vicious man-eater!

I hate this server. I can't tell which bears are friendly or not, and it keeps killing me. One real bear wiped out an entire town because of it. Need to disable this spawning as bear crap.

Hey if we can spawn as bears can probably do wolves right? I don't get all the bear hate, one of my favorite experiences with this game so far was my raising of my bear son Bearold, and his eventual perceived betrayal, that turned out to be a real bear

I made a medium sized city with tools, a big farm, 20+ milkweed plants, wheat and berries, clothes, carts, and started to make an animal pen before I lost connection. I keep finding my way back to the city and in a couple of days I will let people come into it. Does anybody know the discord? I need to make sure I don't let a griefer in.

I just finished my very lonely journey through the server...and even then the game is pretty awesome. Here's what happened.

So I started out being born a male to a solo Eve. Luckily, I had just grown old enough to fend for myself when my mother got attacked by a wolf. I luckily managed to get away though. And thus my lonely journey began...

First I ran around naked, looking for reeds to at least make a skirt. After a while I managed to do so. And soon after I made a basket as well. I continued on, just walking and hoping to find civilization. However instead I found someone that had died. Which was lucky for me, as this person had a carrot crown, a whool cloak, a fur lioncloth, fur shoes, a backpack, and even a cart. (which was filled with fertile soil and one rabbit pie.) I of course equipped everything and continued on.

I walked for many, many miles. Picking berries here and there, trying out how to craft certain things, etc. (I'm still a newbie after all.) But after what felt like ages, and well into adulthood, still no other person apart from a random skeleton every now and then.

Finally I found civilization, or so I thought. I soon realized no one was there. They had all died. A half-broken building, a sheep pen, many seeded fields waiting to be watered, carts still filled with baskets of food or other items, all kinds of tools, fur clothes laying around, you name it. This had definitely been the most advanced civilization I've seen so far. But as I said, no one was there. So I grabbed a cart full of baskets with carrots, changed my carrot crown for the wolf one that was laying around (I liked the look more), and continued on. I wanted to find other people after all.

But alas, I had no such luck. I kept on walking and walking, age starting to catch up to me. And eventually I died without any sign of a single other living human around me. I felt a bit sad, as I would have loved to be a kind of old hermit emerging from the woods, gifting his clothes and food to a younger generation. But I hope that at some point someone will find my body, and that what I left behind will make them happy and help them along their journey.

Something is a bit odd, things changing to other things. Like ponds changing to dead wolfs etc. I got the update but ill try again and see if it's still being weird.

Yeah, still happening after double checking that I got the update. Also seems like the random spawn got turned off, I've spawned in same place a few times now.

And also, thank you so much for the work your putting into this server. You have made so many people happy, I see people saying all the time how much they love it.
