There was a new bug in the way chat parsing happens that was causing a crash on some platforms.
A new client has been posted to fix this. You'll get the fix automatically next time you start the game (must join a non-custom server to get it).

I have left so many kids unnamed lately because i couldn't give them one. I'm so sorry.
On the other hand, i found scary how easy it was to be raised without uttering a single word your whole life, i could have been cursed, nobody would have known.
I will be eve tana. If not an eve, my kids will be called numerically : Primo, Duo, Tertio, Quattro, Quintus, Sextus, Septimus, Octavius etc... ending with an -a if you're a girl.
