Lag Spike Server 1 - Kills family
Hey everyone, I've been playing on server 1 today, and on my last log in, lag struck and aced my family.

I was in my mother's arms at the time of the lag spike
Notice the three players died a minute before me.
Everything stopped, except ambient animations for flowering milkweed, and breathing.
When the lag ceased, i was surrounded by three skeletons.

Tomorrow I'll take a look at the public player logs and cross reference the death timestamps to confirm if this was just a localized issue one 1 or if it hit multiple servers since we had one other report of a lag spike death on another server around the same time this happened.

yep this happened for me a while back too. its super annoying when lag kills off an otherwise healthy family

Alright so I took a look at the data and it only hit on Server 1 from what I can tell. I've got 22 deaths at 03:07:07 UTC that were from disconnecting or from hunger.

Well, the backup process (which will be disabled in the next server update) also essentially freezes the server for about 10 seconds. That happens at 8:00 UTC though, I think.

Well, the backup process (which will be disabled in the next server update) also essentially freezes the server for about 10 seconds. That happens at 8:00 UTC though, I think.
It's somewhere at that time, Chard said 0900 UTC so its close.
The key thing is that the time used in the Data logs is in UTC format so this spike happened 05:52:53 or 04:52:53 before the backup.

I also had a similar problem 2 days ago ... it froze for a few seconds and finally a connection lost message appeared
I'm sure it was not my internet connection since I had several online services working correctly at that time
Unfortunately I do not have much information about the exact time
If it happens again I'll report it

Kinda makes you think if there is a connection issues to multiple players nobodies hunger should go down.
