My beloved Jason! Get rid of omelet items.

As a result of playing with eve, omelets are very low cost and highly efficient. The difficulty is so low that it is not funny. When I was born in Eve, I spent a whole lifetime eating only omelets.
It has to go away.

i love you jason, alway thank you

and I spend a whole life only eating wild carrots, berries and cactus fruit... should we get rid of that too?

It is your choise how you spend your life and what you eat. You could just not eat or make the omelettes.

Re: My beloved Jason! Get rid of omelet items.

For omelets you need a fire  and plates. Also you need to gather the eggs and cant eat them raw.

They are a good addition for eve camps in between the time when berrys are growing and in emergency's. But I never saw a population only rely on eggs.

I lived nearly a full life nearly solely off omelettes (ate a popcorn and about 4 berries), but that doesn't mean they're OP. I just happened to live in between around 15 ponds, a good desert and a bountiful grassland.

The biggest problem with omelette is that they aren't storeable and take up a plate. I guarantee you'll never find a medium to large civ using omelette as a majority food source.

I woudn't mind if omelettes got nerfed to 12 food, 17 is too much for such simple recipe.
Also eggs need more uses.

Yes this, please. More uses for it, maybe in pie or something.

Omelettes aren't portable, so you're stuck at camp. Good for the wet nurse.

No nerfing without better options.

True. Once the ponds are turned into wells there's no more eggs until sheep are well up and running with ample poop to hatch domestic geese.

You should be able to remove a hot flat rock from a fire. I’ve seen a lot of successful griefs in big towns by putting a hot rock over the only fire...

Okay, let's be fair, the difficulty in this game is generally pretty laughable. Once you deal with ignorance, there's no challenge left. Unless you count latency or the fact that sometimes when you click on a boar (bear, wolf, etc) instead of killing it, you'll walk up and give it a hug.

But as far as omelettes go, why would you look at omelettes and not cactus fruit? At least you have to have fire and plates, and the knowledge to cook them. They even have a risk of being burned. Cactus fruit is literally free. Set yourself next to a desert and just harvest that shit every 15 minutes. No tilling required, no watering required, just watch out for snakes.

Now I'm not saying to remove them, it's just silly to complain about omelettes when cactus fruit are a thing.

Believe you're right, but don't believe you can't be wrong.

well i am here to say you are doing it wrong.

Please don't spam any one food.

food multiplier is king.

i think its funny the amount of wood you probably went through spamming eggs. with out realizing it will hurt your economy later.

Re: My beloved Jason! Get rid of omelet items.

Oh, that's really unfair!
Why is a cheap egg filling 12 food meters?
If you can not delete it, you should at least cut the egg's efficiency by half.

That's ridiculous.  You do know that for every egg you cook the fire timer resets?  You only need one kindling to cook eggs as long as you keep spamming them.

I never did get why an omelette of all things was worth nineteen total bars unless the reasoning was you were eating a goose in one bite. I think different foods just need balanced a little better (I'm looking at you sauerkraut.)

fug it’s Tarr.
