Game preloads lots of stuff when you launch it. But then, after you are born, you still don't see anything for like 5-10 seconds. Happens only on first run - later everything is already in the cache.

I've noticed the first game I play of any session, the time it takes for loading in is increased. Often I will have been already named. Any other birth I'm straight in there (well outa there...)

Not sure if it's on the first game only. But on the first game it takes for sure much longer.
Its a rought world - keep dying untill you live <3
