Keyboard issue on 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS
I figured it out in the end but it seems keyboard input only works when you are holding SHIFT.

Well, that's not good...
Is this also true for typing your email address in the login screen?
Can you experiment a bit and see if you can give me more details about this behavior?
