The song of a woman who lost everyone
I wrote this little tune thile being a lonely woman in a village where everyone had died of starvation. Me being the only survivor of a famine. I had nothing to do while waiting for the carrots to grow so I mourned the death of my family by singing. I tried teaching my children and granchildren this song my singing it while farming andI hope they carry it on.
The sky is bright and the sun is high and the wind is telling me I'm not alone. Cause' everyone I've ever loved is singing this same song.
In the darkest of night or the brightst of day, they'll be with me singing. Even from beyond the grave they'll hear my sweet melody.
Thought this would be interesting to share. Kinda weird without the melody but whatever.
One of the original veterans.
