Minecraft Town
An interesting project, courtesy of PHOENIX Inc.
The idea with this town is to break the meta and create a decentralized layout which consists of numerous smaller hubs, rather than the single-hub design of traditional towns.

Ok. I want to know. How does this get done? Is it one person life after life? Is it a group? Was a layout made for people to follow? Is it coordinated outside or done in game?
More to the point; I’ve got ideas. How do I recruit help, or join the help?

In this case, the town was started as a pre-built, but was settled a couple days earlier than expected.
The group that did it isn't public with their member's list but the name of the leader is TheGeniusPhoenix on Discord, and she runs the group behind this construction.
As a result, many members of the intitial family also participated in the early construction phase.
The thought with Minecraft Town was that people could add their own structures/builds onto the existing town and grow it into a metropolis [assuming all went well].

I've seen a town Marquis did on server 9. He does have ideas. That town I don't think got finished but I loved the direction it was going.

Mostly, I’ve got one idea. Simple farm rows. I had the opportunity once to try it in an eve camp, but it was undone within the very next hour.
