Thats great! Recently i have been using all my lifes to upgrade the sheep farm with proper fences. It always takes my whole life span and i usually never see the work finished. To complete it it is necesary to wait until property fences decay, and that moment never comes lol.

Hi Kaidu,

It is always good to get feedback from new players. First of all, i will recomend you a bit of patience, the learning curve in this game is tough but satisfying in the long run. You have been playing the game for a couple of days, is quite normal that your are deorientated. It will take you a bit more to learn enough to fully enjoy the game.
Also you have to understand expert players. This week has been super crazy. Trying to run an eve camp when there are babies running around grabing and droping stuff randomly its pretty hard. Its normal than some people are trying to relax now that big cities have been stablish and just work on their own projects.
If you get a not nice answer from someone, just look for someone else or try to learn by observation. These days many new players have been checking on me while working and i always end up teaching them the basics so they can help me.

Something that helped me a lot when i started playing was watching the gameplays of "Twisted" (you can check them in youtube). He posts several gameplays per week and even they are not tutorials perse, you can learn a lot of things. Moreover its quite enternaining.

Be patient, dont give up, ask doubts in the forum. Compared with other games i really love OHOL player comunity. Focus on the positive points, there are many wink

I see!  Im living in a time zone with gtm+9, so when i connect most of Europe and America are sleeping, so i guess that will be the explanation.

Thanks!

Hi

I felt that since the last update i born as a woman very commonly. In my last 8 lives i was man only once. In addition by checking my gene score i saw that among the last 20 family members that contributed to it, only 1 was a man, meaning that also my kids and grandkids were mostly woman.

I dont know if this is an effect of the update or it might be related with other factors like the gene score or the time of the day in which i connect. Does someone felt this also?

Dont misunderstood me, i enjoy playing as a woman, but playing as a man from time to time is a nice rest. You dont need to care for raising kids and allow you to focus on other projects that require your whole lifespam.

#7 Re: Main Forum » Is there any guide for water and well systems? » 2019-11-06 11:10:00

Hi guys,

Thank you for so much info, i will try to process everything!
Im glad to know that the water topic is still under discussion y though it was just me not understanding anything.

I have one more question about wells if someone can help me out. When i was checking the Tech Tree, i realized that every upgrade of the well requires the previous version of the well but "dry". So far so good. However, in some towns i have been i saw different versions of the well classified as "exahusted" (i think they were the basic well and the Newcomen Pump). It look that after exhausted there is nothing to do, am i right?

What is the difference between "dry" and "exhausted", its any advice to avoid exhausting a well?

Thanks!

Hello,

I am kind of a new player, i have been playing for a couple of weeks.
In time i've been playing i undertood the importance of water for any civilization but i am unable to fully grab who this resource is managed. I have been unable to find a proper guide that explains the details. I have been checking in the forum using "water guide" and "well guide" as key words. The little information i found was quite scattered and because there have been several uptades related to well building, i dont know what information i can trust.

As I observed in the last few arcs, there is usually a single well per city, and natural springs get dry very quick, that makes complicated for new players to experiment with well, cause by the time you figure out how to build or update one, a pro player would had finish it.

Is there any guide that i missed that someone can provide?

Thanks!
