Might also make sense a time lapse (-1) transition for collapsed mine + 48h = mine shaft?
Ah yes. I had to go and make another chisel because someone locked it in there. I don't know why they would do that. Such a stupid way to grief, by locking a chisel away.
Good idea on the mine too. A permanent city means resources that are not renewable are going to be a huge issue.
Oops...
This wasn’t an intentional grief although I admit I was lacking in experience when I first attempted to build the pen. In light of that messup though I did make most of the other tools myself! It was also my own cart which I locked in there rip
I got off yesterday and haven’t been on since - will be neat to see what the place looks like in a few days, and hopefully a method to remove my ugly newcomen prison comes about by then.
Being a relatively new player, I was excited when I first learned about writing when scrolling through past updates. However, I've come to learn that what you can write on a whole piece of paper is limited to what you can say in one sentence. This leaves little room for conveying much useful information and perhaps would make it even more difficult to assemble and organize any cohesive collection of papers, such as a 'book' in the form of many separate papers.
It stands out to me that this quote used in the update post for writing:
wouldn't even fit on a paper in-game!
I understand there are some technical limits surrounding the implementation of writing, but are there any plans to expand or improve on this system in the future?
Are you using any FOV mods? Due to what I assume is server latency I've seen items dropped due to yellow fever ending up quite a way's away from where I should have dropped it, maybe even ten tiles or more. It could be the case that your basket dropped far out of view.
