Are curses in the data files?
We could maybe see the highest cursed players, how close people are getting to the thresholds overall etc?
I imagine there is like a target demographic for who "deserves" to be cursed, whether that is the most murdery 5% of the
population or whatever number. First of all we can probably get the kills per life with each player ID as a data point.
If we tracked the curse point of the "bad people" over time we might be able to see if their curse points even correlated at all.
Then I suppose we could see if they were going up or not over time, so that we might expect to see cursed children appear at all..
Anyone know how to do any of this or have better methods for measuring if things are working right or not?
At this point, Jason should it make so if you're unnamed when you're an adult you can just name yourself. It makes sense in reality and it will complete erase the problem of unnamed people.
Obviously that would be better than the slaughter of all the nameless.. Maybe we could do both though?
So right now we can see who killed whom but we can not who whom killed;)
These guys out there with massive kill counts, wouldn't it be cool if we could click
on them and see the names of all the lives they ended?

They can't. That's the whole point. You kill him, then spawn in next life and lo and behold he is there again. Or even they spawn into the same lineage - with lowered number of people per server lineage ban doesn't work currently either. Here you have example of griefer respawning into the same lineage ~40mins later to finish it off, despite being killed on previous attempt. Bonus point for being nameless to avoid curse:

I am assuming that you would be fine if, at any point in your own life, you were to get shot or stabbed by someone for being nameless. You wouldn't curse them, insult them and go warn the town, because they would be right of course. You could have been a griefer after all!..

Maybe some of the bystanders will be cool and be like:

Items that spawn/become babies/? like voodoo dolls or golems?
Bears that kill people even if they are on items?
Magic knives that if you kill someone it increases your max age based on how many years the dead guy had left to live?

Babies can't name themselves, what you're suggesting is griefing babies whose mother doesn't name them.
Well if you can get the Mom too go for it. The point is to train em to name dat babi.
The stronger your selective pressure the faster the population evolves, if you want the babies to be named death is the strongest selector the game has. Only the named will remain.
People will know that all unnamed babies will die, and then if they want that lil pooper to live they will name it.
If starving out babies who don't have names is perfectly fine why not kill them? People will feed those kids as it stands right now.
