nw and west town lasted just cause it was very far away and noone bothered building the nw diagonal road for ever. its still far from done. NE town is relatively stable for having a large fenched area and being in a far corner, surrounded by smaller ruins. any raider just gets distracted why whats in the sattelite ruins. the ne road took long and still has many gaps.
central-SW town is now ruins forever, cause it was closest to center/roads, and because raiders mostly made camps south of it. that town just could not withstand constant harrasments.
east center town is stgrongest stronghold. mostly because it has great geography near it. it dominates its area and even manages to withstand constant fenche-gate blockings and even though it has an early death-road connection.
southern border raider camps come and go and come and go. nothing lasts long there, but they keep rebuilding fenches and mass murdering animals in the southern half of the hell cell. occasuinally bears claim it back.

i noticed late iron out of nowhere, and guess what, most of it got turned into knfes and locks. you merely enhanched the suffering.
i took 2 baskets of one base full of iron elsewhere, but i forgot where these baskets ended up, likely in the open near one pof the main roads. just meant to diffuse the iron a bit.
good thing there only need to be one person to lure 10 bears to sw corner to clear that nest of dumdum. they relocated to south-center-ish.
no. the memerscore almost only depends on your offspring and relatives, and as such it is absolutrely random.
unless you aim for a low memerscore intentionally, which is doable by intentionally killing most of your babies.
any peace is too easily exploited by a 55 year old with nothing to lose who just happens to have one to three weapons, two of them war swords. then you just shout "war", and kill a few, till you die neasrly of old age.
there have been 15 minures of "peace" in the western central village, mixed town, totally overpopulated, too many knifes and locks, no berrymuncher leaves the property fenche full of holes.
instead they build locks and hoard and enslave.
i just happen to accumulate 4 war swords by age 54, i hide one for my next life, and declare WAR in this crowded place full of peacefully starving enslaved berrymunchers for 5 minutes of fun with 3 war swords in a mixed town.
sure, i die from getting stabbed by my daughter after using up my 3 war swords, even though i tried my best to not bother raising any kids, but this one somehow made it back to town as a baby, to get raised and to stab me in bloodlust "for peace and abandonment revenge" ya know.
the town managed to get 12 iron before they declared that short term peace, and used 4 of them for 2 knifes and 1 loock. thuus rendering the peace pretty useless.
this peace was a farce full of naivity from the start.
with all the knifes and war swords and sabotages and berrymunching in it, that "peace" is gonna end really soon, as soon as the berries run out.
that sw camp founded and maintained my discord suckers for way too long, who kept terrorizing the town that was closest to map center.
i turned all round stones inside SW camp into sharp stones, good luck maintaining that shitty fenche.
also, 2 bear caves inside of it got their bears awoken.

there is no such thing as too many fuzzy wuzzy huggy bears.
bears need no wells and will dominate most towns.
easy; I dont see how average life is below 25 years, unless sids pull that average down a lot. sids, always messing up your death time/cause stats.
most recently, i had a life, where till age 10 i was in a locked in prison town, and i still obtained
2 horses
12 arrows (and destroyed them)
4 bows (and hid them)
5 war swords (hid all over the map)
2 blue pants
2 green cylinder hats.
2 knifes
and thats not counting plentyfull loot from large abandoned bases that i could have displaced, but just could not care less (destruction of arrows to protect the bears has priority)
i died of old age and quickly got horse and warswords back.
so this is pretty mucha dull rinse and repeat.
i traversed the whole map to gain knowledge over pretty much anything relevant in 40 minutes. this quickly gets very repetitive/easy.
with null defense, the game is just very random, you eigher get ambushed and die easily or not. the game becomes a memory game of knowing where horsecarts are most likely at any moment.
the game is dumb, many older mechanics are neglible:
this used to be a moreX-game, but exmapsion and exploration are clearly replaced by more extermination.
yum chains and hunting for yum is no more a thing.
a family with migrative strategy, oh what a laugh this is now.
milkweed/iron/arrow GATHERING is just not a thing anymore. it is replaced by literal prisons.
endtowers are irrelevant now, to trigger a reset, all you have to do is to lower life expectancy; mostly by luring all the bears, but alaso by connecting all the cities with roads while also sabotaging all fenche gates
you can easily prevent fenche gates by turning all milkweed into needleThreat or snares. existing fenchegates are easily sabotaged. all in all just not viable.
stone floor with corpse on it is most hard to remove non blocking contrsutable.
it also makes it hard to lure bears over it, if the gate is not a straight line.
it would not surprise me if faster ping results in faster movement speed on a straight line.
if i hunt someone with war sword, and i have better shooes, i move slower.
someone else just hunted me wioth a war sword, was much faster than me, and killed me with a sword at a distance of 4 tiles.
its a torture sim full of hacks.
if it is easily sabotaged, it is bad.

main grief countermeasures:
all milkweed/rope to be turned into chests or snares, before they end up as property gates, that just waste everyones time.
all arrows that you find to be removed from the game indefinitely, with a simple dumb ingame glitch. game is more fun with less arrows.
all wool to be turned into snake boots for agility.
bring bearskin to map center and build roads for a community project. it mostly assists eve players.

property fenches are a waste of time and easily sabotaged/besieged,
yes. it was VERY peaceful for many hours, but the more diagonal roads where added and most cities lost their silly berrymincher-slave-fenches, the more people came from all directions, usually with war swords rather quickly.
so i made a bear-guard thing, many bears in map center, so map center is best littered, and the littering diminishes efficiency of war swords there.
no, i make sure that the bears stay.
good luck making arrows without milkweed.
