We have paper as of means to "communicate" with the future
But the problem we face right now, is clutter.
We should be able to make books and other means, like a scroll and such
Book would have a limit of ten pages per book, aka ten written papers in a pile, with two rabbit fur pieces and sown, will give you a book
Scrolls would be two papers together, so you can write and read double the amount you can currently say.
Books are read by picking it up with left click, clicked on with left and you will turn the page, drop it with right click.
Now the part I wanted to write: Specialized people
There would be a certain number of things you'll need to make, such as tools, food, crops and so on.
There should be little markings, showing what's your primary profession, like a farmer would have a small tan, blacks would have messier hair, smith would have a toned or muscular body, a baker would have tiny flour and such splotches on the face
Like a said, little marks that indicate your primary profession, this would help other people to know, which are the right people for the job you want to do.

Poor Jeffry...

Is it me, or is Jason posting updates less often?
Like, updates to existing stuff and next to none content updates.
I feel like it will just be used in towns. Spending 10-20 iron to attempt to connect a resource to a town still doesn't feel viable. In the time you could build the track you could deplete and haul the resource with a cart. If anything making tracks use wrought iron instead of steel would make them a little cheaper. Still you would run into the problem of, linking an iron mine to the town thematically makes the most sense, so you would tap a mine just to use it all on the track... I think we really need mine tech similar to pumps. Chance to exhaust the mine but could use tech to keep at them to make a track viable. Seems odd that we can hook up diesel engines to water sources to pump water from the ground, but as soon as our couple beams and bucket on an iron mine runs out, thats it.
yeah, but I thought of large scale town, where sometimes you'll need to bring something to the other side of town, but it will take a long time to do this all the time, so linking a track would be useful, considering both sides send the cart back and forth.
WOW! Now I'll start seeing more track in town, hopefully ![]()
Da fuq?
We can dance soon enough? Looks cool, but what is the point exactly??
I like the idea, but lessen the bugs and make a chance system, either you get yellow fever or not
Two predators are not balanced in biome, put monkeys, who can help carry item if befriended, and then it's balanced
My gun maniac pic, still shity

Been in two towns with not enough gates, and no one really paying attention to if the gates are being shared and opened for people who need them. Oddly we were OK in one town since we had 3 tanks of kerosine, compost, lots of stacked wood, a tree farm. I wonder if it would be possible to make a "finite map" type of mini game where you have this small resource-dense area, and you need to manage things correctly to live as long as possible. In the town with the kerosine I think they could have lasted for 4 generations. But they were trapped, whoever made and closed all the gates wandered off without giving anyone else permission or they were ignoring all of the yelling about how they were closed. I checked names but couldn't find the person.
Ominously one gate was owned by some rando eve! New griefing game: creep around with a round stone and piece of rope and trap the people in the town.

Please let me in!
If we could make ties and dye button-ups grey and pants too, this would be perfect for the meme

wrong ginger baby penis colour:
Wait what da fuq!?
+1 to nails, +1 to more storage options
barrels, wardrobes and dining tables have been largely suggested and are great means of resource contention (since making these is useful but optional).
What about table flipping, can we have that? ![]()
So if I understand?
The younger you are, having first contact with another family, the more like English it is, with an accent of course and your children will inherit that understanding and gets more refined as generations go?
That's what I get from this.
There is a glitch in the forum!
If you talk to them enough they can learn yohr language but they have a bit of an accent:
For example if a note says: Do Not Kill
They may pronounce it as
Do Nit Kilt
Understandable, kinda
Wait, now you can understand other families after some time?
This shit made me laugh my ass, head and dick off

Right now, we have only fatal wounds, where we need first aid to save somebody
and the snake venom will need an antidote to save someone
and arrow heads need actual primitive surgery to remove it
What if we had non-serious and serious wounds?
non-serious would be:
Nose bleed (one nostril)
sprained ankle (shown by limping, slower movement)
Cracked bone (a limb in a bent position, either slower movement or can't pick up certain items)
and such
serious would be:
Broken nose (both nostrils bleed)
Fractured bone (no movement or slowed movement because of pain)
lost limb (WTF AM I THINKING!?)
and such
For different injuries you'll need different remedies, either painkiller or a splint or in body surgery
I know this would make thing more complicated, but you'll at least live after a non-serious injury without any medicine, except serious ones
Diseases should be added to make players more care about hygiene, either building or them selves
After a while, diseases could appear, which would make a players life miserable, either by pooping (More dung
) or by pain (painkiller)
Some diseases appear because of certain action or thing
Food poisoning could be caught by eating rotten food or eating wrong food, like mushrooms or raw eggs (if you wanna)
The point of this topic is to express my opinion on how to improve the medicine in ohol, compared to the now primitive medicine
Submit your own ideas, if I left out any or you just want to add ![]()
North south east west
Ok, thank you
I seriously think this game should be pitched to various universities as a method of studying the human mind and how our environment affects our decisions and mental health.
A separate, specifically made for universities server, where all students, who play it at the moment, play in the same server, so there are different tribes of groups of students, who work together or destroy each other, depending what they want and have to explain why and how it resembles the real world.
Cardinal direction? What that mean? ![]()
The WASD controls should be an option, WASD for those people, mouse for veterans
This would increase the player base and I've tried to make my best friend play after the twin update, and he doesn't want to play it for one reason: The movement is mouse based
This would help a lot of veteran players, who want to play with friends, who don't want to because of the mouse movement system.
also, this gives a bit of language learning aspect, parenting and teaching is point of game so it works, as your parent is possibly more wise on the language and can teach you some word, which I think is nice
Today, I came across the language barrier, which was SO HARD to learn.
So later I thought "SCREW THIS LEARNING!" and took a piece of paper in real life, wrote the correct word combination and VOILA!
You got your self a translate sheet!
This will help for that life, if it doesn't change, and make it a little bit easier to speak to the foreigners
(My profile is my face when I found out we had language barrier)
Well, if the existing system is basically a congrats you have a baby because the lottery says you met the warmth + yum fertility requirements, then why couldn't that be changed to a baby bump instead. Then you are put into a queue for the next login. This might lead to some weird nearly instant babies vs some extended labors, but it still would give some mothers a chance to get ready for their bundle of joy. Which would be an improvement imho.
The_Anabaptist
I wasn't saying that it would appear for a child login, the first year is in the mom's belly to say, they can still see the world, but can't move, but balanced with not needing to eat for the first year
