you likely got confused by 2 bells ringing in short sucession, but with quite the distance between them, sorry, that was me, i kinda have a huge interest to keep this area alife, to a point, where i would prefer the qin, but any other good enough family may aswell take over for a while. so i rang 2 bells within 5 winutes.
but it likely wont be one of the many families, that lets me starve as a baby at age two, aso i can pretty much rule out the [dominik] family to have any siognificance here whatsoever.
i mean, i was the one, who did two things in that area a lot half a week ago, i cut trees, and dropped excess swords and baskets with useful tools for city founding (excess hammers, excess firebordroills; ONE IRON OR A SNARE) north of wherever i spawned, and wherever i found a well site, like up to one k northish of my family spawn.
and i guess this made the qin as big as they got:
im not gonna say much about the area, you likely know half of it already.
qin was for a long time a family with 3 cities and close to 25 girls, plus 10-15 women, spread over more towns than i could count. some people knew the other cities,, many were just clueless.
and that was just the larger qin family population, the actual total number may be up to twice as much, because i am pretty sure that they where two qin families, mixed over the same cities.
But they made a silly mistake if building 2 bell towers in two of their towns simultaneously, without having any meaningful number of swords to defend.
and they sure have been warned about nearby families. but yeah, those warnings, a pure waste of time i suppose.
guess what they build instead. i counted 15 knifes total juat inside the 2 now dead bell tower towns, and i estimate roughly 10 more knifes in the area.
yep, they almost suicided, by making knifes and ringing a bell, like they seem to always do, with way too many knifes, and not enough swords.
mow these towns are a huge messy warzone. foreigners arrived 10 minutes ago, killed at least two, likely foreigners vs foreigners.
i kinda saw it coming and prepared 3 (for now) secret backup plans to keep the qin alife, now in full progress.
this may be the end of the qin families.

well as of now, the mino is 2 girls 7 woman, anbd thee qin family, only slighly less dumb, is 2 tribes, wioth like 50 of those in total.

mino town had too many knifes, and i was determined to either learn how to disassemble knifes, or to murder anyone with a knife or bear, because fuck that state, its gonna end in greed murder and grief, qand oh boy, it sure did.
I should have done the latter much more, the murdering of anyone with a knife, especially after teaching how to disharm a paranoid and megalomanic town. i had suspicions of megalomany on one particilar player, and i acted upon them way too late. I have regrets.
if you teach a town how to disassemble knifes, to make saws, shears and krautboards, and multiple people say (or act like) "i support your business" , and four people still refuse to give up their knife, none iof Them anywhere near the kitchen most of the time, you have just found your megalomanic future murderers (or at least murder supporters), and they just have to die before they make you die.
Greedy fucks sure tend to run far out of town a lot, where they hide things, or lock up things, well, this is where you must murder them, before they murder you.
Then its just self defense, and in the interest of a cooperative town, as you have just filtered out the greedy fucks from the people who want less knifes and more safety/cooperation.
The most surprising part of this story to me:
i was just taking the file and one of many hammers (file to prefent making more knifes, the city had plenty of thingss that reqwuire a file, so i could keep the file)
normalyl, i would have ben murdered point blank, just for posessing a file, but this town was different in that regards, because they already had too many knifes, they could not care less for the file anymore. the town was littered in three blades without shafts, so you know it was that bad.
i kept saying "use hammer on knife", and demonstrated to some, how to disassemble a knife, after they gifted a knife far away from the city (trusting situation)
in total, i used the hammer on four knifes, and prevented three more blades from being made into more knifers 8using file twice on blade makes useful tool)
i think, two players went as far as gifting me their only knife. three others only gifted ther knifes by force, after having murdered someone innocent. because this jesus mino doesnt fuck around naively. this jesus mino kills or be killed (in the end both happened, but jesus mino kd ratio is positive, so jesus mino doesnt casre if whiney griefing murderers curse and claim jesus mino were a griefer).

so that proved that jesus mino "use hammer on knife" campaign had the whole town behind the back of jesus mino.

[surviving mars] is a very dumb city building game, mostly because it lacks replay value ONLY due to having a small static map with only a dozen easy locales
, and the rest is just suicidal to try, but its OST is just great, its very wild-west, but in a modern technology context (firefly-series-like).

in case of confusion, there are currently at least 2 qin-families, with similar skins.
each of them have many fertiles, orten 30 + 3ß fertiles of 2 different qin families.
and both families are spread over multiple towns, like 3-5 different towns times two families.
many players are not aware of this.
some assume there is only one quin family, but the 2 families seem geographically very far apart.
this results in many lost people.
this soon gets a lot messier, because boith qin- families have nearly completed bell towers.

what if the griefer is the cook?
well, you notice that by just having a mass starvation. this is a problem that instantly solves itself.
the scoring is mostly out of the control of the player, because often most of it depends on the failings of your siblings and offspring.
that failing is usually a direct result of a town posessing too many knifes, two knifes is already one too many knifes.
it makes a town suicidal, mad with power, and full of griefers, when ever a player, who is not a cook, posesses a knife.
make it as hard as possible for a city to make and posess excess knifes. this should increase your gene-score.
knifers are only for traitors (and one knife is for a cook)
that means, if necessary, turn all the steel into axes (or whatever tool you may invest extra kliicks in) or war swords, this is still better than supplying greedy megalomaniacs with knifes.
do not produce excess steel. this just gets turned into knifes by griefers.
also, if you see anyone make excess knifes (and there is already a cook with a knife), just kill that TRAITOR (supplying) fucker and make sure the knife is hidden far away from the town.
nothing of value was lost, you prevented murder and treason via manslaughter, its a simple lesson to teach, you just removed a big threat to your family, in terms of the scoring system, youre a hero with that manslaughter of a greedy fucker.
this manslaugter of traitors is easily done by a cook, close to the furnace, who should posses the only knife in town.
a cook easily has high jums and the whole town behind her when ever a traitor needs a killing.

now what to do with excess knifes and axes and war swords?
well, mostly turn them into kraut-boards. you can disaassemble knifes.
one player is the cook-traitor-killing assistant. he sometimes owns a knife, and then hides it far away, in case the cooks knife gets lost.
that placer may posess multiple knifes in the backpack, and tiuurn them into shears and kraut boards and saws.
knifes can be diasassembled and then turned into something non-griefing, you know?
or cut long lines of trees either northeast or northwest (its just easier to cut diagonally north), til you find a good city building spot, a neat ruin, or foreign tribe.
one k long lines of cut trees require 3 to four axe heads in a backpack, and can be doine in 40-50 minutes.
these tree lines then make traveling easier, make it harder to get lost, and it sure attracts a lot of growdth in the area, where your family can easily stay the largest family along the road.
you may drop one knife at each city building spot, this way you "seed" the spot, either for your own family, or for any random passing by eve, who can use the cut trees and the knife to boost her growdth. that player will then do the work your you, and most likely leave behind a nice ruin with a sheep pen and lots of arrows and rags, and you can reap the citys that you seeded for foreigners with war swords very soon.

Adding either a long, medium, or short Antenna will set the frequency to Low, Medium, or High respectively. Speak into an AM Transmitter set to the same frequency to test if the receiver works. The Antenna can be removed again to choose a different frequency.

- in theory, you only need one battery, and you have a half-duplex radio, where you just can not send and recieve at the same time, but can switch between both and do both byswapping the battery. this saves you a lot of materials and time.

like seruiously, a ratio of 10 transmitters to 1 recievers is what i keep seeing, and its just silly. it should be the other way around.
also, if there is a war happening, be VERY careful what you say close to a radio, because once again, the radio transmits and translates unfiltered.
i just guerillia warfare killed 10 people in the bell city on my own, and rang the bell. They were just bad fighters, i didnt need ranged weapons at all, they never hunted me far, or in large numbers, and i was already too old to run away in a hunt, to that would have killed me easily.
They told me through their radio, how many of them where at least currently at the radio, if any new baby was born near the radio, how scared they where, if they where begging for pads and threat, what they thought to know about me, and if they where trying to hunt me, in what direction they currently suspected me to be, as they spread multiple recievers all over their town where i could listen to them whine and die, which sure assisted my guerillia war.
and thats how you can use 4 radios, one transmitter and 3 recievers, spread all over, to enable one person to murder everyone in the bell city with the "library of jobs".

physically, high frequency radio signal allows to send more information per time, but with shorter distance limits. the antennas are usually smaller here, like many small mobile phone antennas. this is up to microwave-lengths.
physically, low frequency signnals allow less information but higher range, the antennas are usually larger here (and higher up), like huge radio towers, usually only one per city, usually on top of muntain peaks. wavelenths are closer to a meter long here.
oh, sorry, this online multiplayer only game by default has a lots of nudity and homicide, i wasnt aware that tobacco would change anything on its ratings. i dont think it could.
disney once tried to make a minecraft like, mmo with voxel constructions, BUT they insisted on low age rating, which meant, no genitals at all. so they tried REALLY hard to code an AI neural net that can detect minecraft-voxel-genitalia.

In the end you get 2 to 6 more food bars at old age. at younger age, the extra food bars have a very neglible effect.
in total, you eat like 3 berries or 2 bananas less during 60 minutes, if your ranking is in top 30.
woohoo, you can get much bigger boons when you get 10 to 15 yums, wich is much easier done, by eating one unique food item every minute till age 12,
and then taking a long baby break, while trying to keep this up as much as you like.

I see significantly more girls being born constantly now, like up to +50% more girls at any moment. cities a lot less just fizzle out AT RANDOM, due to neglible moms, instead they die off non-randomly, for reasons mentioned below.
I see significantly more people near fireplaces.
I see more secondary and tertiary fireplaces, when ever baby booms happen and moms must copy a fire to another food source.
I see omlettes and gooses being cooked slightly more and faster.
I see more ruins with short stone road systems, as in, cities suually reeach a state where they have multiple wells and higher technology before they die out. this was different before, where many moms just where too negecting, and low tech cities died off more randomly/easily.
i no longer notice dumg boy-killing amazon tribes.
fertrile females are seen slightly less on horse carts, but still give birth a lot within 50 tiles distrance.

youre directly being juged for
- not having a weed farm close to the birthplace of your kid.
- not having the same ratio of kindling to iron (either no kindling or no iron)
- not having the capability to defend against single bears (lack of arrows and bear skins), cause if you dont, youre just begging for up to eight bears, in groups of 2-3, its a matter of time.
- being a retarded cunt mom that just wandered far away from the main base on her own.
- tolerating more than 1 knife per 20 players in the family. all excessive knifes are for traitors, and people who make or want excessive knifes should just be cursed or murdered preemtively, before the knife gets inherited by a sheepfucking murderer. (or children just see the knifes and corpses and goe /die)
so yeah, it you put up with any of these situation, or tolerate hem, you deserve your babies to /die, and deserve a lowering ranking for it.
Only players, who dare to sink below 5 lifes (and the average newbie) may decide to put up with your incompeteence in those regards, in a futile attemt to fix your problems, or in a more satisfying attemt, to just murder the whole town, and wander off with a dead town full of loot.
theres definitely strange things going on in the ranking, because my last few times i was mostly a male, and almost always my whole life on a horse, and i murdered people left and right, including annoying people of my own family, even had the usual doomed horse children that i never heard scream, all in all in only 2 of my 10 lifes o got to be a half decent mom.my playstyle was not leaderboard friendly. and somehow it still ranks me 14th place by now.
I rarely were below 11 lifes, down to 8, then playing for 55 minutes, and i sure did /die a lot in cities that just had no skill and were wasting everyones time, in terms of the scoring system.
I guess good judgement in that sure helps, so let me mislead you a bit; never type /die when you see no rope being farmed, because only newbies farm rope. its all about the berries, and kindling collection is to be done by slaves. always make sure to have huge private property fenches full of kindling gatheriung slaves. this way you have all the time to find gold for the ten crowns that you need.
if you get born into a family with null girls, that just means you can take over and dominate more easily. yeah, lets see how many people take this one at face value.
My ranking skyrocketed, when i visited the bell tower, and became knoown as the "white guy who killed 6 of 20", and they kept fearing me after my death, because my murderer never reported killing me, and i got rebotrn by a few of the survivors of my massacre.
which was fun, becausae i instantly got reborn into bell city, so i could play dumb, loot all the loot intoi hidden stashes, and silendly laught at them still fearing me from my past life, as if i was never defeated. fearful people could easily be told "hostiles sw", so i could focus on my overflowing stashes, that are in all the other directions.
so, i guess, reincarnation may just bind you to a locale close to your most recent death, which means, it is beneficial to try to die close to large families, not necessarily your own family, preferably guerillia fighting till age 55, and then switching to theft. (stealing from feoreighners, then get reborn there, and know where all the goods are)
main point here is, knifes are for traitors, and you do any family a big favor, by just hiding all the knifes far away from any locale that you may actually care for.
theres always a dumb mom or kid who will gift or make knifes to way too young characters, and its just a matter of time till that is used to grief or murder for the grief of it.

if youre born as girll in a town without arrows, and lor capability to make knifes, and you have one of the few knifes, why not murder everyone, and take over?
oh i moved on so many times, born as male in a town without hope, rope or kindling, it makes the /die so essentiial.
its just when im below 4 lifes, that i am stuck in such towns, and the last towns then just got the bad luck of being too many such towns, with me stuck in one of them. its more an exceptional state though, i am rarely below eight lifes.
born as female in such a town, i managed to fix many of their issues, making rope, kindling and babies. mostly making babies, fixes a towns lack of girls, because mothers fail to stay warm.
born as male in such a town, i managed to fix many of their issues, by luring 4 to 8 bears, in pairs of 2-3. but only if they dont even have 2 arrows in town, total, in gen 4+. no point in luring bears, when a city can defend itself against a bear.
its rarely the males that kill towns, but its the town that fails to give birth and make ropes, that kills itself.
so far i only once underestiomated a towns capability to defend against bears, and was in awe about it killing off thee 8 bears i lured. the town still deserved them at the time of the lure.

the culture of a town is strongly defined by nearby biomes and the material of its animal pen. southern adobe animal penn wals are good spots for a bakery. property-fenche pens have a shorter life span, resulting in more escaped animals over time, which makes for different lifestyles.
the culture of a town is mostly defined by its road network, and possibvle connections to nearby towns/ruins.
it limits mostly the number of baskets, gooses and eggs, and the utility of carts.
bear/iron rich cities definitely have a different play style.
jungle biomes cause more nudit and less cloth than snow biomes, with easy ascces to many furs, and more need for furs.
the access to rabbits and wild berries definitely affects a towns style.
great towns manage to incooperate blocking items, that can not even be destroyed or moved onto into a wall segment of an animal pen.
the best one of those is a rabbit hole. the second best of those are bear caves.
rabbit holes and bear caves make awesome animal pen walls.
Put a backpack on the ground, fill it with 4 kindling, and light it on fire.

The kindling and the backpack go up in flames and are not longer usable as such.

how about items with good food/yum buffs, that make it impossible for you to use any weapon for a while due to intoxication; mushrooms, tobacco, alcohols.
this could be the native american peace pipe tradition.
alcohol could also allow you to live longer with a deadly wound. an alternative to sterile pads yould be a bottle of berry/rice/grape/corn wine.
visualyl could be a diminished mushroom effect, may even make you walk slower.
is historically significant, when humans were more migrative, but old folks due to age or injury could not walk as fast, had to stay back, and they ended up making alcohol (and cheese), if only for food preservation. this practice is likely origin to many cults/religions and a clear step towards agricultural life.

more gameplay experience:
this is a common theme, too many people made knifes instead of making kindling, which results in me having the oportunity to fll a cart with four backpacks of dead traitors, to bring 20 kindling in five backpacks per tour to the forge. usualyl three such tours are enough kindling for 1 hour of a city.
This often results up in more knifes and grief, which ends up in more backpacks on the floor, but at least now the city doesnt run out of kindling.
at one point, i get so many kindling filled backpacks, i may as well set them on fire, and it would not make a difference.
i rarely ever see any one of ten pick up a profession that is needed, especially while people ask fot it to be assisted in.
Instead of seeing people do what a town may need '(its always rope and kindling), i mostly see people to what they want to do or can do (making the 20th knife, just to get stabbed or lise it within 500 distance), which mostly ends up wasting water on berries. (bnecause berries is all they got to know)
instead of seeing carts being used to gather much needed ropes or kindling, i see more and more horse carts collect more and more excess iron.
you overestimate crowd-intelligence, its actually the lowest common denominator in large crowds.

i found many ruins with 30ish iron and very low kindling, but also full of things zthat would have decayyed before kindling.
they just sucked at making axes and making babies, but loved to collect more excess iron. its a common theme.
a baby tour isnt necessarily rp, its usually in search for baby clothing.
