I love the craving mechanic for that reason, they become worth it so someone goes and does the work in order to satisfy the craving.

In this case, it means that someone needs to go and do the work to improve the town, so that the craving can be satisfied, and that is a good use of the mechanic.

Feasts to date have been fairly easy to do, especially now that cows are so much more common. I've seen feasts in most developed towns I've been in recently.

Best craving is bananas in my opinion, If you let it get high you can then get brown fam to get a carload. End result is a ton of super bananas. Cactus and Fish are good too but harder to get in mass.

I don't think they where too common to begin with. Actually think craving blocks can be pretty beneficial, You can get 30+ yum and it's worth doing for the town.

Why straight line, Seems like it would become unwieldy  if it's too long.

Usually scavengers come and loot everything useful. Might get repopulated a couple times but eventually people make a new city.

Will it just be 24 extra cans of kerosene, I saw you can build pipes which imply it's supposed to be more long term.

With closer towns you could build a big pipeline to supply them with oil. Could build it into other towns engine fences. Though I feel like it wouldn't be worth it just for 24 cans.

Yeah, I was a ginger when blacks came to ask for help with paving. Honestly I don't the mind the collaboration, I did screw up by letting it go too far lol.

It was pretty cool to see a multiracial demolition crew. Definitely less monotonous then stone roads and no gaps!

Suprised killing cows led to modern roads before beef.

Curse protection charms, Amulets of various quality and materials protect the user from player curses.

Respawn totems, When you die you come back as the age you built it. Fits behind trees.

Gas guzzling, Drink kerosene.

Demon bears, Spawned by blood magic. Can't be killed until the summoner is killed.

Assassin's dagger, Instantly kills target with no slowdown.

using saw to behead a goose big_smile trust me, it would take way more time, you remind me of Hannibal Lecter and his new friend who played violin on someone's neck

butchers use circular saws on frozen meat but kinda funny how you want using a saw on goose instead of speeding up it's animation

Cornflakes are my favorite and I don't trust aliens like you.

Nice to some more modernization. Curious if this will tie in with cars, Maybe fuel not running out while traveling on this road.

He might not even be done with farming yet. Industrial compost, Harvesting and maybe even animal farming.

I think we could use a saw for beheading goose faster.

How could a system NOT be based on "he said, she said?"  That is exactly what justice looks like in real life.  Whoever tells a more compelling story, with more compelling evidence and witnesses, wins.

Even if justice happened outside the game, it would still look just like that.  You would email me, complaining about what happened to you (he said), and then I'd have to email the other person, to get their take on it (she said).

I think life being as short as it is in-game it does kind of have to be. You have to decide pretty quickly if the person is innocent or not, Innocents get killed all the time.

In real life the procedure is much more frugal. In real life we can actually review evidence and organize court cases. Not to get too political here but ideally police don't kill people.

So I guess my answer to your question would be to have us live longer. That obviously won't happen but hypothetically I think society would be more organized.

Perhaps a sanctioned tutorial town. Basically a decent sized area with abundant resources that's completely walled in ancient stone.

People that have completed the tutorial end up in this sandbox area instead. Multiple players can spawn here and experiment with town building. Probably have it so it resets often and dosn't allow outsiders to enter, Even with a plane.

Isn't the infinite thing just a bug?

Honestly if you think about everything boils down to Kerosene which is alot like water wells. Water and Kero are both finite resources used in exchange for other resources.

We'll probably get better tech for getting or refining more kerosene. I think Jason mentioned adding byproducts of oil for building roads and such. Probably means a new refinery.
