Not blacks - browns are jungle.  Blacks are desert.   Jungle people also get tomatoes and peppers, the lucky bastards.   So they can make salsa any time they want.

If a new fruit-bearing tree was added to the green biome which was modelled after the mango and useless for anything except yum, then that would be a suitable alternative.   Perhaps apple trees?   Or cherry perhaps?   Bowl of cherries could make cherry pie.

I hoped it would work that way.  It would make it easier to live without full access to other biomes.   But alas, it was not meant to be.
