he's not, most of the advanced players /die out of eves, if you forced ~5 playing at peak tryhard with how popular the nodelay client's become too. You're going to have a guy bitching about how no one wants to build cisterns for him to drain the newcomen so he can put the engine on by hour 2.
I mean i'd love to see that, i've yet to see a eve camp making engine in gen 2/3/4 , maybe it would be happening in one town (prob ginger) where a group of friends that know how is working together.
And all towns gonna have kero in 2 hours as well right..? /doubt
edit2: i guess we could use the other servers in a creative way? get a couple vets/noobs to switch to an empty server all at once? would require organisation tho, say we inform/advertise somewhere in discord and maybe sometimes at random main server nurseries to also get some noobs involved that on i.e. mondays's and friday's we switch our active server to an empty one, have like a smart shedule for which date/times we switch to a new empty server?
I once got a few people together to play in a low pop server a few days it was fun, but you gotta accept the family line probably wont stay alive long and you'll just have to get back to the town later. It was a lot of fun but its also very hard to get some people together to do so. Last few months I've mainly retreated to just playing lowpop(not main server), once my place was fully tech-ed out i started working on one together with my neighbor who was also tech-ed out. At some point all essential stuff simply has been done.
Its a huge leap to go from daily apocs vs maybe wanting to experience a apoc once after 1.5 years.
If only there was a mechanic to get a fresh start/reset in the game, ohhh wait there is but Jason nerved it even tough it didn't happen for over 1,5 years.....
Try hitting lasso with flint or knife
To get a mouflon you have to shoot a moufloun with a baby, then u take the baby home by clicking a rope on it and waling home. The you put it in a fence amd feed the baby mashed berrie carrot. Mashed berrie carrot can be obtained by filling a bowl with berries, then addind a carrot and hitting it with a sharp stone.
Parenting game is not only being parent, but also kid. Right now the folks on DT are just the kids told they need to sit on the stairs for 5 years.
Its not a barren waste land, u can do everything there like you can outside of DT. But you are often gonna be alone there so if you wanna stab some sheep you're most likely gonna have to get your own mouflon and make your own knife now... I doubt you even know how to do that.
U can play the game perfectly fine in donkey town with your donkey friends.
59 more months in donkey town, enjoy!!!
Only 59 more to go!!!!

U cursing new players is not gonna send them to DT since most people are more sensible than that.
Ohh you would be amazed what people curse over.
One time I was cursed because I said screw green beans.
Just wait till griefers figure out that this curse system works 2 ways and start cursing everyone out of town with 5 year curses.
Just wait....
New Meta isn't sheep griefing, It's cursing....
im waiting....

I never said i was gonna curse you, i said goodluck cursing ppl if you are stuck in DT.
If both eves die u will need to walk to find back ur spot, id suggest settling on or near the edge of 2 biomes then its pretty easy to find back, ull just have to find the border of the 2 biomes and walk east till u hit home.
Also do not so this on server one, if bigserver 2 is full excess players will be sendt to server one and it might move eve spawn far from your base. If you dont visit the place for too long it mind end up getting wiped.
If only one of you dies that person will still have to walk back, or chose to be born as a baby to the eve thats still there.
Im currently playing on a low pop server myself, so i could show you and your friend the ropes sometime if you guys got discord.
Sounds like some donkey mentality, gl cursing us from DT.
If you both wanna keep spawning at the same place you both will need to /die till you are both eves and then meet up together somewhere. If you are eve and die at 60 u will spawn back and same place and be able to eve chain. Another option is have one person be eve and the other person to die till getting born to that eve.
As for setting up a server i only know its possible but not how, the game is open source so if you have the know how you could make your own ohol variant however you please.
What if there is a situation that all fertiles have been having loads of kids, would you want the game to prevent someone from login in directly?
Nope this has been changed like few weeks ago, ive been craving feast table and all the complex foods on low pop.

When playing on server1 the crave chain never reaches anything complex.
Mainly wild foods, mushrooms and basic vegetables. There is also no food decay like with long generations.
While I enjoy solo play, this makes the game too easy.
There is also literally no motivation to cook complex foods cutting off much of the gameplay. If there was some way that you could spawn as your own child at 3yo, on top of your own bones, this would be ideal.
Starting at 3yo would also increase difficulty and provide the extra 10m or so till death.
This has been changed in one of the recent updates, first eve is the same as it was but if you eve chain you can get any craving.
IIIIIAAAA
Tarr what will it take for you to grace us from your smart fridge?
You reap what you sow !
