Hello ryan, I don't have any of those. I'm not sure the server was restarting because when I joined again there were still people in thriving civilizations. I'm not sure because it happened twice and also to multiple people at the time. I'm not sure, did anyone else have a similar experience?

Hey guys,

I don't know if this is a bug, or a new update, or something. I didn't want to post this as a bug because I didn't want to waste anyone's time. I was just hoping other people with the same problem would search forums the same as I did and see this post. I'll be brief.

I've been playing this game for quite some time, and have amassed quite a few hours. Every time I've reached old age as a woman, I've had 3-8+ children, sometimes even more. Some of those runs I've only eaten berries and have been way too cold the entire time.

More recently, I've done maybe 2 or 3 runs as a woman and gone all the way to old age without a single child. What? When did this happen? Why am I not having kids? Is there a new infertile mechanic or something like that?

If no one can offer me a explanation I think I have an idea. Recently there was a new update introducing only one big server. Inevitably, or so at least one would think, this would mean instead of many smaller civilizations spread through servers there would only be a few very big civilizations, or many decently sized civilizations on the same server. If anyone is familiar with the lineage cool-down mechanic, it means when you die in a lineage, you can't be reborn for another hour and a half (or at least that's the basic idea..) I wonder if because there are only a few large families on the server, that many people playing simply died on the family I was in and was barred from joining them again, therefore resulting in a huge loss of kids spawning in that family.

Whatever happened, I wasn't the only one not having kids, many others in the family said the same thing. In this particular run I was eating very well and kept my temperature in the middle. Still no kids. I don't believe I had bad conditions, I believe there were no kids to even be born. Things weren't like this before, and I would like to know if anyone knows why.

Anyway, thanks for reading! If you have the same problem, please share your story here. I love this game a lot, and if it is not just a small coincidence, maybe we can uncover an issue that can then be fixed. I hope everyone has a great day!
